Great video. I first saw Luke on the Modus Super Series around the middle of 2023. Absolute gun and no surprise to me that he's in the final. Been loving the darts for about the last 14 years. Aussie darts fan.
Thanks for the video. Been fun watching him in the last few days. I predict some more record breaking tonight. Insane 50, 50 double top finish last night. No words.
I was telling people on Twitter 2 years ago this lad will take the pdc by storm , safe to say I was laughed at 😂 not anymore are those people laughing , they in awe with LL … followed his journey on the jdc and England squad BUT didn’t expect him to hit the pdc this hard and easy lol
The interesting note I took from this is Humphries has played Littler. No matter which Luke wins tomorrow, Littler has put all his doubters in the hole and will be a name for the coming decades.
Yes he will be in the Premier League, and they will amend the rules with him still being a minor with regards to how many tournaments and other commitments he has to make to protect him. Barry Hearn knows how to run his business, he has made darts what it is and knows full well that Luke and his story has crossed over to the outside darts world and the opportunity that this offers. The final tonight he is facing the World Number 1 who is playing better that anyone including Luke. So Humphries should start a clear favourite. Whatever happens Littler has arrived, and who knows it might have the fairytale ending of what is an incredible story. Will be watching.
I think the final this year is more open than in any other year. All you need is Humphries or Littler have one poor set and that could be the difference. Or the sets go with throw. I'm glad I don't bet on these 😅. Great video 👍🏼🎯
This dude has the talent to become a legend after the retirement of Phil Taylor. He`s young and maybe needs some more experience on the big stages. I`m looking forward to the Premiere League. Matches against Bully Boy and Gerwyn Price will be stunning !
He made a wise choice going with the pdc rather than the wdf. The winners cheque for the 2024 wdf World championship is only £50,000, littler is guaranteed a minimum £200,000 just for reaching the final. £500,000 if he wins. It's a no brainer.
Remarkable young man, his mentality at such a young age is very impressive. I haven't watched darts for years but this guy has piqued my interest again
I don't follow darts relegiously, but I think this lad is a bit special. So many greats in lots of sports have displayed maturity beyond their years, and this boy is the real deal. Guess we will find out what stardom, girls and few beers have on his progress.
The Ronnie O’Sullivan of darts maybe? Ronnie was beating top players in his teens and winning majors at 17. It’s great to see. Hope the media don’t hound him and let him mature into a top professional.
That would be cool, though no athletes yet have both the records and the longevity of Ronnie. Van Gerwen was good young but ruling the roost as long as Ronnie is something hard to do.
Well he's into the final in great style with 106.05 average win over Rob Cross. I hope and pray that he wins it. Come on Luke you can do it young man!!! ❤❤❤
t would be the craziest story any sport has ever seen if a 16-year old wins the World Championship on his debut. Would love to see it, but it will be tough against Humphries who is in stunning form.
I've been wondering what's in the water to cause the UK to be dominating the tournament this year. "Saint Helens Dart Academy". Well, that explains it partly. There are darts schools.
i just hope he blanketed from the press and people who want a piece of him. his game is almost, quote sid wadell, 'tayloresque'. i just hope his well being is made a priority. who knows, wednesday might be the day he becomes world champ.
Seems like a really nice kid. He needs to get an advocate and some people around him to keep the vampires at bay. Life is going to come at him fast. And the vampires don't care what happens to him as long as they get their cut.
