I really wanna get back into Chivalry 2 just because of how fun it is but it was definitely the game that genuinely got me mad at people. Usually I'm pretty calm in other games
The rapier is Amazing -until your opponent has a Highlander Sword/Great Mace/ or Quarter Staff Those are indeed the bane of my existence Rapier main here and boy do I struggle against those weapons

@@Ziggylata may be i have bias because i am longsword simp or its was unlikely coincedence, but rapier players never pose a threat to me like at all at least in duels. I beat like hundred or so in all my dueling time in this game/
Nice to see you upload videos again. Sure would like them to roll updates more often to quell some of the 24/7 doomsaying, because I actually really like this game and wish I had more stuff to do in it for the time until they inevitably add the heavy crossbow and it gets irrevocably ruined forever.
i hate this dudes with this weapon... its to fast if you fight other guys befor and som rapier come out off nowhere feels like a total diffrent fight-pace and this get me most timeXD
Was playing yesterday and got a quad with engi's sledge hammer I felt like an absolute God with the eyes glow effect cause I got parry and hit thru their hit boxes I think
1year late but you can use the shield for emergency situations and use it as a shield from arrows if you turn around to an archer(the 2nd situation is rare)

Shields break and don't need to be used all the time. They give a huge stamina bonus when used, but they have low durability, break and when they break, they stun you.
They have low health and they break super fast, making them a huge liability for your own survival. At the same time, they give you a 75% stamina buff which invalidates the stamina part of the game. The reason its unhealthy is because in a good players hands, its horrible and annoying. In a new players hands, it doesnt teach them how to play since they can just crutch on it until it breaks and then they die right after.
Yesterday I glitched the game where I used the force it was crazzy lol first time I thought it happened didn't think too much of it 2nd time I knew it was from me
my mouse be broken aswell, since i use the side buttons (mb4/5) for stab and overhead it sometimes just confuses them for a normal mb1 slash, pretty frustrating since you can't chamber effectively.
i dont understand the shield on the back? I know he said its a stamina buff in your pocket but wouldnt it be better to just have to extra block stamina the whole time?
It breaks after 300 damage (200 for small, 400 for large). When it breaks, you get stunned and the enemy can hit you. It can be wasteful to use it when not needed.
thank you for the response I appreciate it, I think I'll just stick to replacing my shields when they get damaged but I can see why you don't have top bother with that sort of thing
Hey Ziggy, it's TheMemesofLife from that Tenosia match a few nights earlier. I hope me asking when your next upload would be didn't pressure you or anything. Anyways, love the content! Also a good video idea would be to compare the Messer and the Greatsword and which one you consider to be better.
I'll try to get uploads out weekly but try not to hold it against me, I'm doing it all myself. I stream 5 days a week. Also, Messer and Greatsword are so similar that it's borderline preference but the Messer is a bit better.
I just realized, a way to maybe make defense a little more palatable would be to improve the AI of the Levy Peasants, maybe if they tempered the AI so they’re more of a threat it could kinda offset the one sided-ness of being offense vs defense without completely changing the game mode
Shield is as useful as it is a liability. It has limited durability and you get stunned when it breaks and when it breaks, you also dont have it to block projectiles if you need to.
21:55 he said something about them not getting the objective in lionspire. The reason why is because alot of them kept taking the route he was at. And he wouldn't let them pass at all so alot of the team couldn't get there
