I agree different trombones offer newer and different techniques to the player. I’ve played on 7 different trombones and tried 3 others they truly provided different levels of depth and experience. My main trombone is a .559 bore tenor and it feels good every time I play it but the smaller bore trombones unlocked my higher register. I truly enjoy your videos, keep up the awesome work. 🙌
Paul, I am also a collector. I believe that Mr. Lawler loosely based his design on a 1947 Martin Committee. I am lucky enough to have a great example of a 47 committee and a Lawler model 3. Playing than side by side can be very interesting and enjoyable!
I like the sound you get on the gold brass. I agree with the play multi trombones, it's mouthpieces I try my best to not change much. I use the same mouthpiece on all my tenors whether big bore or small.... only a very slight change when playing Alto. But I do use a much different mouthpiece for bass.
