This rework of the song gives me "you lost the love of your life" vibes. Weather it'd be your parent, best friend, partner, spouse, or even pet. It starts as the sadness part of the loss, but then you remember all the good times and that great feeling in your heart that they'll always be with you no matter what. As long as you remember and keep that memory of the good times alive. It'll be alright. And that moving on is alright, that there will always be a bright side to the darkness.

It's something about this version that just...makes me feel so at peace.

I feel like this version really puts the lyrics into perspective. A lot of the time I see people thinking this is a fun “coming of age” song (which is fine if you wanna interpret it like that) but the reality of it is, the lyrics have a much deeper meaning (I sound like a redditor but it’s true). This version really gives the sense of discovering how meaningless the religion you grew up with really is. It’s a goodbye to your religion, now fully embracing life without a means to an end. Or I’m just over analyzing a song at midnight, who knows?

I addicted to this song now even it's being cinematic it's.. BEAUTIFUL 😭😭

I'm so happy you guys decided to make this cover, it's absolutely beautiful. I love how each version of Notion has a distinct tone. The original was really high-energy with an underlying feeling of nostalgia, the acoustic was more upbeat and peppy, and this one gives me a similar feeling to "You Weren't Meant to See That" albeit a bit more light and hopeful. Each version is amazing in it's own way and the fact the three of you managed to make three versions of the same song that all sound incredibly unique compared to one another is amazing! Thank you so much for the amazing music! Can't wait to see what's up next! :D

As good as it is I feel like it could have been a totally new song. I know they can do it they’re song “you weren’t meant to see that” and “sparrow” are proof that they have excellent lyrical material. I hope they do more of what they’re doing and stuff like this 👍👍👍

sp i imagined this movie, no powers, no nothin, no lazy plots at all, just a kid makin friends. after a while hes an adult until driving hes rammed into off a bridge with his friends. the entire movie is centered around them desperately trying to get out. at the end scared, he wakes up from a coma, and as the camera pans out pf his room you see on the news.. "drunk driver rams car into ocean, one survives." the credits would show the road to healing with this playing.

I feel like this would be playing over a cinematic shot of the earth,Destroyed with carbon monoxide being the dominant cause of humans dying,But it starts time lapsing and then it shows a plant begin to grow and the earth starts healing.

My grandpa just got really sick and I don’t know what will happen to him but no matter what I will always remember this song for him.
