The fact the modded bestiary works entirely like its vanilla counterpart (except Scal background and some worm jank) really show the dedication of the Calamity devs that went in this.

the fearless goldfish warrior has to be the best enemy in calamity, i remember when i first found him while playing in calamity multiplayer, my friend genuinely couldnt stop laughing lol
For me and my friend's first Calamity playthrough I was the only one encountering the goldfish warriors and now it's a running joke that I like to lie about the weirdest things.
based on stats. the reason why cnidrion and the cysts are so high is because they have a higher rarity stat so they can appear on the lifeform analyzer
you dont know how rare cnidrions are till you have to farm them for sturdy fossils for your ranger playthrough because you cant find an entrance to the underground desert and, therefore, has no access to desert fossils and the extractinator
I died to it because I had no arrows. Then when I had arrows I broke a cyst and the perforators spawned and I died again because I hadn't killed any bosses yet
I am currently playing Thorium mod and Calamity on tModLoader, along with couple other mods. Still in the early stages, though. Haven't come upon this fearless goldfish warrior yet but normal goldfish warriors are not that rare. Seeing how one of the other mods I am using adds random prefixes (and thus random features) to enemies a fearless goldfish warrior could be quite nasty, such as Shielded (gives the enemy significant resistance to melee attacks) Fearless Goldfish Warrior. Or perhaps Hyper (significant increase to enemy speed) Fearless Goldfish Warrior. Or Splitting (divides into multiple copies when killed) Fearless Goldfish Warrior. Or Devouring (eats other enemies and gains health from them) Fearless Goldfish Warrior... This enemy prefix mod does have one helpful prefix, though. Enemies with prefix Merchant are non-hostile (and non-damaging to PC) and when talked to will give the PC a random item before poofing away. They can be damaged by other enemies, though.... Also, in my games that cnidrion enemy doesn't seem that rare at all. And it also spawns above ground.
I tried calamity for the first time recently and I had wood armour when I visited the desert for the first time, died to this guy in the thumbnail. Haven't seen him since.
The thing is, the goldfish warrior is so rare that it spawn once when the player already too op that they accidentally one shot the fish without noticing that they actually have found the rare mob
Well I seen many fearless warrior goldfish probably inspired by Antrex and that normal pig has a whopping 2000 HP how did that happen pigrons should have more HP than they have
Hey i saw this enemy called "secretary" in the calamity wiki page, but i cant find any footage of it, the wiki said its a rare type of enemy spawns in the void? Or the abyss? Maybe you missed one or it was just my mistake.
bruh, just today I started a calamity play through with very little prior knowledge to it and I saw this guy spawn with wooden armor I just ran the other direction and he despawned, if only I knew sooner…
