This movie is a story from the colonial period of Englands' history which has ended, with a clever premise and plot. Well written, and performed by a talented cast of actors.
Absolutely lovely, especially to see Dame Lansbury play such a baddie! And it's fascinating to note the story was by Reginald Denham, who was her mother's first husband, and father of her half-sister Isolde Denham! (By this point Denham was married to Mary Orr, who had produced the original story for All About Eve).
