Bass cover of the 2022 single from ‪@TheRasmusOfficial‬, Jezebel.
This song is one of my favourite candidates to represent Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022! The competition is fierce this year and all the entries to our UMK are killing it. This chorus however was living rent free in my head for most of January so I had to act on it. There are some really great basslines and grooves here, a real pleasure to play.

I don't even recognize Lauri's voice in this one, wtf? I would never think this is a The Rasmus song if I heard it on the radio :/

Oh yeah, they've definitely dialled back the usual characteristics in Lauri's voice for a more neutral tone :/ I didn't even notice before you said it, but he did still sound very much like himself in the "bedroom sessions" videos, so it's probably just a production thing

@@Paajanenae hey... yes you are right. I also think it's a production thing. I loved the "Bedroom Sessions" videos so much because it sounds so natural to himself. His voice often doesn't sound so good at concerts...Terveisiä Saksasta 🎶🙋

Se on kyl kans yks highlight täs biisissä! Kertsiä saa soittaa kyllästymiseen asti, mut tota kakkossäkkäriä oottaa joka soittokerralla :D

which effector peddal you used? drive+chorus?? the sound you made is very cool!!

Just a few drive pedals, one with a cleaner sound to boost and tighten up the other and then a soft round overdrive with a clean blend :)
