Meanwhile in Europe, rafts bringing fleas with yersinia pestis that killed 1/3 of the population, shook up the ecclesiarchy and nobility and led to the reformation with led to America being colonized primarily by English Protestants and leading to the most free and prosperous nation in earth’s history - thanks to rats I guess
@@MXdemex so he has his own ghost following him around after he reincarnated? Or i guess it’d just be him hallucinating after a traumatic experience of drying and being reborn and he’s still holding onto his human self as much as he can, by cooking and pretending he’s still a chef even if it’s not him him.
@HoLeeSheet1atleast we can say that there are criminals in every community. what about yours? you guys read a literal book which teaches you to blast everyone who's not a muslim and how your prophet gaped g=r a 9 year old 😂
@HoLeeSheet1your family goes took you somewhere else and lied to you that it was a temple, you should stop enjoying that place and report it to the police.
Mannn that brings me back to my first time living on my own, 17 years old, living on a hog farm with 6 other workers that spoke only Spanish. For the first couple weeks I would wake up and there’d be little black pellets all over me and my blanket. I thought it was strange but it didn’t click until one day when I realized rats were crawling all over me shitting on me at night. Man I don’t miss that shit at all lol
it's disappointing that they just talk halfassed researched stuff on the podcast. actual folkore goes like this, 600 years ago there was a holy woman (karni mata) who was considered incarnation of goddess shakti. she didn't marry and didn't have sons of her own. she considered her sister's sons as her own sons. one day, that son drowned in a pond and died. but karni mata through dharmraj (god of death in Hinduism) brought him back to life and also obtained one boon from dharmaraj that the lineage from that son would just cycle between rats in her abode in one birth and humans in next. as i said before, it's a folklore so there's not much use of putting logic here but atleast every culture warrants a correct reporting of its aspects.
I have been to that Temple. It is in Rajasthan near Bikaner. There is a White Mouse there which is considered auspicious and you get a very rare glimpse of it. Also, these rats don't have Plague and don't spread diseases. If a rat crosses your feet then it is considered good fortune.
Being an Indian who has visited that temple here is a fun fact It's considered to be very very lucky to see a white albino rat there as there are more than 10k rats in the temple but out of which only 2 of them are white in colour. Another fact is that if u go in that temple and u step on a rat and it dies as a penalty u have to make a rat out of pure gold.
Lol RU-vid put your comment next to the person that said this a week before you…. Just to shame you for stealing what someone else said, for the sake of likes. 🫵😂🫵
Domesticated rats are surprisingly intelligent and loving pets. We had them as a kid and you can teach them tricks and commands just as easily as dogs. They are extremely loyal partners with eachother aswell in the sense they can quickly die of a broken heart similar to human spouses that have been together many decades.
@@Justmekpc yeah as long as they don't get provoked they won't attack or bite to spread their diseases also they're pretty much fulled from clean environment and food so it's a small chance but not zero.
Yes we live with animals.. we live with cow, elephants, dogs, rats, buffallows, cats, camels, rebbits, tortoise, horses, and many more.. And we proud of it, thank you to our land and culture, so we still have harmony between humans and animals. And about this karni mata temple ( the rats temple) Made in 1530 CE Since these 800 years, not a single dieses generated from here. Now it have atleast 20,000 rats. And lots of visiters. Victory to ma bhawani. Jai mata ji ri sa. Note: please ignor my english mistakes.
I look for places like this too visit one day. I wish to take a spiritual tour all across india once i have resources. I love my country and my religion. I wish to learn everything about it one day.😊
It isn't if you do basic research. The rats keep the place clean, have not had plagues even when the surrounding area had it and are not feral. This exception from laws of nature is the reason they worship at this location.
@@verdathagod they don't mess up the whole place. The whole appeal is that rats don't behave like they do in the wild and in urban sprawl. You don't see that in every temple, just this one because of the unique behaviour of the rats.
It doesn't smell bad, they don't poop and have never had a plague when the region is prone to it. It's almost like nature took a different course at that spot and that is why people worship there
Nobody cares as no non retarded human wants to go there 😂😂😂 and I'm someone who visited several temples in Pakistan's, India and Bangladesh as a Muslim 😅
It’s very close to where I live. I’ve been there so many times. Those are not wild rats actually, they born and grew in the temple only. Eating grains, sweets and milk within the temple itself. It’s terrifying initially but it make sense when we know more details.
I've been there. The entire place has temples where rats are praised. The goddess over there is the goddess of rats. In fact the 'Prasada' they serve is first eaten by rats. People eat it everyday and they don't get any sort of disease. I was about 10yo when I visited that place.
Not one plague or any disease has spread due to them in that area You can Google it Meanwhile us humans spreading diseases everywhere , we literally are inventing a new disease every day due to our mistakes
@Study Onli fine, there should be more! what if there is confusion between them, who will be guilty, who will admit the mistake. You know, if two cooks cook, the food will either be salty or unsalted
I have two pet rats! Their names are zeal and ardor and im here to tell you they are literally tiny dogs. Everyone is scared of these lovely little creatures and I wish more people would know that 🧡
@@anonymuzz99 well thats a lie but worshipping cow💩 and drinking the same milk as rats is disgusting. mice and rats to are carriers of disease, and pests that have strong connections to contamination and dirty places like sewera
I don't believe in all that reincarnation crap, but rats are inherently very intelligent and I think it's cool that they're treated with respect for once.
@@Auvas_Damask yeah in someones dream...jk Actually both the things happened.....and Jesus came to Bharat too to meet some maharishis to teach him about spirituality and stuff
And there hasn’t been any disease outbreaks yet from this practice if anyone is wondering……..i am waiting untill joe finds out about indian temples filled with cobras and scorpions……he might consider taking break from grizzly bears.
I have visited this temple. What wasn't mentioned was that you have to go inside without shoes, and rats walk all over your feet, they have no fear of humans. When rats die they are not eliminated by the monks but just left there. There are rats' nests that must be many generations old. And there is no describing the smell......
Yeah because rats urinate and defecate everywhere, they carry disease and its third world ludites like this that usher in diseases and plague the rest of intelligent society has to deal with.
This is karni mata temple located in bikaner district of Rajasthan in india It is also said that if you see white rat while worshipping goddes then u are lucky bcoz they only seen to rarest of the rare
As a Hindu, I have been to that temple. It is located in the state of Rajasthan. The priest told us that they don't kill rats because it is a vehicle of God Ganapati. Rats don't harm humans. Some people may make fun out of it. They have to understand that we are talking about decentralised Polytheist Pagan religion. I didn't know about that temple untill i visited.
Lol the way so many hindus are really backing this in other comments is sickening. There is literally a reason why there is so many diseases and deaths in that area.
If rats turn to humans and humans turn to rats; I’m waking up a rat and speed running my death to be human again. I’m running onto a highway immediately
The most amazing thing has not mentioned by this guys that people are 1. An amazing fact is that in spite of the thousands of rats scampering inside the Karni Mata Temple, and even the food is shared by locals with the rats, there has never been a reported incident of plague or any other sickness. 2.. It is remarkable that thousands of rats live inside the Karni Mata temple, but they do not step out of the main door of the temple. There are 25000 rats in temple. 3. A real life miracle can only seen in temples of India no where else. For example, Jagannath temple in which flag on temple flies in opposite direction of wind.
@@reda6821brother there is a big difference between a real spirituality and a man-made religion concept. We dont have any problem whom you worship, when you say this is the one thats true then we have problem. God is everwhere inside human, animals, in mountains, in ants, etc. But we need to find it, this is the spirituality..
In Hinduism we worship an elephant God Lord Ganesh who's vehicle is a mouse 'mushak'. This can be one of the possible reasons why they create such a friendly environment for rats in that temple.
It is really clean place😊. This tample is in Indian province of Rajasthan it is called karni Mata temple in bikaner district. They are clean and if you saw a white rat is is considered as a good omen
Red become human after death that is not hi saying, it is just a culture of loving every animals, Hinduism🕉️ loves cow, dog, elephant, lion, even snake😅,, almost every animal... They also have a very deep relationship with nature like mountain river, trees etc..
Well the newest studies show that the rats actually could've not spread the plage so fast and so far. The traveling people, mainly merchants, warriors and wanderers actually did it.
In Hinduism... Rat is the vehicle of lord ganesha... There is a story behind it..long long ago...Rats infested the world and they started attacking humans and yogis who lived in peace... Then they prayed for lord ganesha...to save them...lord ganesha made the rat king (asura) to become his vehicle.. For all eternity for the mess he made, as a punishment... 👍
Karni Mata Mandir BIKANER RAJASTHAN i visited this holy temple with my parents in FEB 2023 ❤️🧿🕉️ It is said if you saw white rat then it is the sign of goodluck here
You have to understand the temple economics of india...we have temple for each Animal or bird or tree/ plant....we value everything the earth has given is and this way we can preserve them as in turn can save the environment also because everything plays an important role ...a mere rats too
When I was in India, I was eating in a café and a cow came in and ate with us. Everybody thought that was normal, but it was pretty cool. We also went to a Brahman cow temple afterwards we were all having tea, and everybody was laughing except for me because I didn’t understand I was drinking cow piss in my tea. Fun times!
Also people feed the rats some part of their own food and then eat the rest. But the unbelievable fact is that there's not have been a single case of food poising and no one has fell ill by sharing food with temple rat
The point here is that when you think it this way (Karma and Reincarnation), you automatically become non violent because ultimately you are killing a soul who was once human. Of course then killing also becomes quite easy and doesn't need the concept of free will. Neither does punishment need that concept.
Furthermore, when I got married, in the wedding ceremony, the end of my turban was tied to an end of my wife's saree with grains of wheat tied into the knot. We went to this temple the next day, where the knot was opened and the grains were given to the rats. A lot many things are tied into one another in culture.
@@CaptainMez0 nah, maybe the west is used to it with all the disgusting lard they live in As for this, no, they don't live in an enclosed space so there's no smell
you gotta go thru 50,000 rebirths to become human again. not me, that's what the ancient textbooks say. maintain good karma and probably you may skip some rebirths
