Upadate below = We Gain 970 New Subs Since our last Upload 🥳🥳 click The 🔔 (All option on the Bell), so you don't miss the next adventures in this Country! Update hey, Chilian people thanks for watching the video and all the love and support you guys have giving me I have gotten so many emails from many of you guys wanting to show me around town I'm still in the country so let's see if we can make it happen with that being said I will ask you to have some patience. I am aware that some of you guys want to see more people from your country and that's what I plan on doing but I also will continue to do what I've been doing in every country I have visit which is Showcase my people. I am Haitian American and so that will always happen not only in this country but in every country I visit and I also like to showcase the black diaspora this is something I will be showcasing in the future in your country. I thought I let you guys know now before there's any discrepancies. now as I mentioned at the beginning of the statement I do plan on connecting with more Chilian people in the future to showcase more of your country through My Lens just like I have in this video by meeting my subscriber Ignacio a Santiago Native born and raised in this country and who did a wonderful job showcasing the food the drinks and the history in the past two videos. when I first came to this country I wanted to make it a point that I showcase culture which I have and even though sometimes it's not coming from a local nevertheless it is still showcasing what you have to offer but there is more I want to show people. So far I have six videos where I go to different places to show you different types of neighborhoods from your country and in the future I do plan on taking this show on the road and showing other cities from this country but like I said I would ask for you to have patience. now I'm saying all of this to say one more thing. for the past few days, some people have been leaving racist, xenophobic comments on my channel and I want to make things clear I will never allow that message on my channel, This means I'm going to block you 100%. Its unfortunately, it has come to this point but there seem to be some Bad actors who want to play on my channel and I'm not here for that. I'm here to showcase Chile's culture to the world and also showcase the reality of Chile which means yes the people who live here, I'm sure when I start moving around to other parts I will show you different aspects. with that being said have some patience and also one thing I need to remind the people who disagree you can always watch another video from another content creator that you are more comfortable watching, I hope you understand
@cryptoadoptioncoming9718 you are very confused I've been doing premieres for over 3 years now they are basically live premieres of a new video every time I upload them. prior to the release of the premiere I have a live stream where I can answer everybody's questions about my travels and we talk about the new video that's about to come out. once that video comes out I delete the live stream, it's only for people who attend so if you have been missing live streams perhaps you should click the Bell to get notified faster but yeah those live streams are only for people who attend and then I delete them. it's better to ask a question than assume and accuse someone of something you don't have any understanding about. first, seek understanding before you judge.
Chile is the only Latin American country that does not need a visa to enter the USA. Crimes committed by Chileans are isolated incidents that the press and politicians exaggerate. The number of Chileans in the USA is minimal compared to that of other nations.
I saw a Fox News RU-vid video about a group of Chileans robbing a house or something and the comments were absolutely awful. They literally compared us to illegal immigrants and said stereotypical stuff that the average American would say about Latinos rn. They saw that as an excuse to say racist and ignorant shit comparing us to everybody else in LATAM.
@@WeonRichiI'm glad I watch some of ace videos on chile, cause I wanted to see for myself. I'm Haitian, and I also heard how highly haitian's speaks of chilean people, and I also discovered some awful comments from chilean's about afro people in these videos. so you see, there are bad and good people in all nation's amigo
@@josephLindor-ki7op Well, to be fair, if you had arrived in Chile in the years before 2016, you would be treated better, today there is a strong nationalist feeling towards foreigners, a product of poor management by the government in letting in many illegal and legal Haitians but with customs that clashed greatly with local custom. which causes a negative reaction, even so Haitians are treated better than a Venezuelan, Venezuelans are the worst viewed by Chilean society because many are people who committed crimes, types of crimes that did not happen in Chile before. Likewise, things will calm down when a more efficient government arrives that can control criminals. People act out of fear of being victims of what they see on television. It will pass when they feel that they are truly safe. A coalition of socialist and communist parties currently govern.
@@josephLindor-ki7op there’s a lot of Chileans (the conservative ones specifically) who are very xenophobic. It’s not even about skin color it’s specifically nationalities that are being attacked. Venezuelans, Dominicans, Haitians, and Colombians. Luckily for us that’ll die down a generation from now. They claim that crime has risen which is true but they think that generalizing entire groups of people will somehow change the situation.
@@ZeaI fuck dude I liked boric at first. I really thought he would make a positive impact but he hasn’t done anything to solve crime. We really should’ve gotten kast in because he would at least do something to solve the crime issue.
The young lady you blessed at 9:00 you should have turned around and seen her take off running, she was so happy. She tapped her friend and was like "I'm out, bye". Respect Bro and safe travels.
I lived in Miami and was on the bus, started talking to a man that looked like Shaka Zulu, he was from Nicaragua. I didn’t believe him 😂. So reading these comments about Ace not interviewing people from Chile is actually funny to me because I still laugh at my own ignorance at that moment. Thankfully he was cool about it, he laughed at me too.
i don't know what my compatriot was talking about but vino pipeño is made from grapes, NOT apples. it's generally a younger wine so it has a bit of a rougher taste, hence the addition of the pineapple icecream and either grenadine or mint and sometimes a shot of fernet to make the infamous Terremoto..
This was an amazing vlog! I thoroughly enjoyed your time out at dinner and the conversations about living there and even at the end with the expat who lived there for 15 years!! But, yes. I really enjoyed this video! Thanks for sharing Ace!
Central Santiago looks like Calcutta these days … Chile used to be clean and orderly until ‘ They ‘ arrived …. All those ‘ beauty ‘ treatments in the streets are totally ilegal … they even sell food in those carts without any permission or basic hygiene . You can hardly walk in central Santiago with those streets vendors and when the police arrive .., they attack the police ….
Ace! When it comes to education there is a couple alternatives. First off, there’s a credit people can take where the State pays for your College and you then are in debt towards the State, for what your education costs + interests. It’s a complicated matter actually, because there’s a whole bunch of student debt, people graduate and get out of college with a profession but are in debt for a bunch of years afterwards. Recently there is also a program called “gratuidad”, free education, where basically if you are within a certain % of the poorer population, you get your education paid for, as long as you maintain good results in your studies (get good grades and don’t fail classes). And finally as they said, there’s scholarships where if you do good in the superior education access test certain colleges will offer to pay for a certain % of your fees, the better you do the better offers you get.
Hey ace I just stumbled upon your channel today. While you’re in chile you should check out the aysen region, known for its national parks, a waterfall, lakes, glaciers, and more. The airport you fly into is called Balmaceda, which is around an hour drive to the biggest city coyhaique. Cheers 👋
Pipeno is no made from apple... is made from grape... ordinary grape... its an early stage white wine... taste mostly like grape juice... but its an early wine...
Hello Ace, I was enjoying your videos from Chile, but isn’t talking about immigration details kind of tricky 😮especially when you have your friends on videos to show what they’re saying don’t give away too much information about immigration could pull that video up. Just my experience, never exposed too much information with immigration, love you. Keep safe. One love🖤💚💛
bro come to coquimbo here we have the fresh sea food like taltal or other part in chile. here we have the tasty shell food ever! and also we have the real orging of psico, not wine but pisco is from this place, peace and respect you have a good vibe and respect for pur culture
the haitian brother he speaks more clearly thats the thing about Haitian we can have the best accent on any language just because the haitian creol do not have intonation which makes it easier to speak/learn any foreign language
You only say that because cris mj is mainstream now. If you ask people outside of la Serena and Santiago they will not have much to say about reggaeton because it’s just copy and paste junk from the Puerto Ricans. There’s no national identity with it.
@@WeonRichi that is your opinion. There is no national identity with it but Reggaetón has a major presence in Chile. Chilean reggaetón has its own and unique sound that sounds nothing like the Puerto Ricans or other Latin countries. You may not like it but I do and people here in the US and other countries are in the know of the Chilean reggaetón scene.
@@WeonRichi Chilean reggaetón has its own unique sound in the scene, which people who obviously aren't interested on reggaetón and only discuss it in bad faith won't notice. The same "its just a copy and paste from USA/UK/wherever, it doesn't have nothing to do with us can be and WAS applied to many musical genres and their most known artists, like Buddy Richard with his repertoire of covers, Los Prisioneros and their obvious The Clash influences, Amerikan Sound/Grupo Alegría and half their songs coming from the Mexican Cumbia Sonidera, etc, popular culture doesnt appear magically. I may not like the narcoculture alongside various local reggaeton singers, but I wont lie and say their musical work is worth nothing, specially considering the influence we hold on it now.
@@user-vl8ez6zv1v who cares? As long as it’s delicious . I’ve had some terrible rich style plates that I’ve paid way too much for. Besides- I ain’t rich anyway.
"rioting", started with the change on the transportation price, students started rioting, than it turned to social inequality, cops killed some rioters and snowed balled from there! later the government agreed to write a new constitution, but they are still working on that! that's why you still see graffiti everywhere!
Ace this is my 3rd or 4th attempt to contact you. Some strange going ons' with your channel. But only after I super-chatted you.. 1. I did not see that you got it..2. You did not acknowledge it. 3. This was during the video that you shared your whatsapp link. 4. Immediately after the s/c, I was blocked from your live feed. So I went to your whatsapp link, which had your live feed attached. But even there I was blocked. And whatsapp would not work. I am going to check now. HOLD-UP. I'll come back with a screenshot.
The problem was you keep leaving your phone number and this is not good place for that but anyways I see your message now that it doesn’t have a phone number attached to it. What is it that you trying to contact me about if you feel like you need your phone number you can always email me here. Thisisace@gmail.com
We Chilean don't hung out much anymore in those neighborhoos after the "estallido social'' actually we tend to avoid those places where you are, we don't like there anymore
Yeah these places aren't Chile anymore, I'd recommend you different places but it's hard at this point, we have been invaded by other contries and they are everywhere.
Hermano me gustan tus videos, pero la chica de trenzas, o sea roxy, claramente era una mujer trans e incluso te dijo que "No" cuando le dijiste Boss. Espero que te hayas percatado después.
The Haitian 🇭🇹 guy with all due respect, seems very excited to speak and acts as if he may never get the chance to speak again. Seems like he believes he’s needs to take the opportunity to talk as much as possible, there’s even times it seems like he speaks over the other two Chileans. Needs to take a deep breathe and understand it will be alright !!! My goodness
I dont see the problem either. To me i feel he just loves our country and makes me happy see a foreigner being that passionete about us. Would make a great tourits guide.
