It’s insane,you could buy a pound of fresh lobster,bring it home,toast up a nice roll like the one u had and sit in front of your tv Bee Free for about half that price.Not to mention saving the 10 grand on parking. By the way if u are in that area just take the blue line and get off at the aquarium,much easier than parking.

I can get the same thing for $24 in Colorado. I thought it would be less expensive where where they just pull it in the boat into the the restaurant.

Back in the 1950's, 60's, 70's, everybody could eat lobster 3 or 4 days a week at $2 or $3 for a chicken lobster. I can't afford lobster rolls at $30 to $40 each on my S. S. pension, so my last comment on you tube, I get, too bad old man. Thanks for caring.

You can buy live lobsters for like $7 a pound in Massachusetts if you avoid tourist trap markets, even cheaper if you get them off a fishing boat (that is technically illegal I believe, but have done it many times). Just about as cheap as any other meat these days. You just don’t get the massive restaurant up charge that way. Pretty easy to cook and make a lobster roll.

@@deadlata9767 You would use more gas driving around looking for a $7 chicken lobster when most supermarkets charge $9,95 a pound. I think that we are talking about restaurants, not making your own. When you're visiting a city, i'm sure You're not going to make your own fried seafood in your hotel room.

Butter is more expensive because it's healthier than mayo. Anything that is good or better for your body will cost more, generally.

I personally don't think that fruits and vegetables are healthy, especially with all those pesticides, insecticides, and genetic modifications ("enhanced" with more sugar / sweeteners), not to mention all of the vitamins/minerals are not bioavailable (doesn't absorb well in the human body).

You destroyed it pouring all that butter. That roll looks like there was only mayo and butter used... I've had a lobster roll in Cape Cod made by my aunt, and there were a few more ingredients in it ( that didn't include melted butter). Stop it with all that butter when mayo is already included.

lol.. how long have you lived in Boston? 20 yrs ago the same roll would have cost 10 bucks. Considering the city is on the ocean and Maine and Gloucester is a short drive.. btw.. it’s lobdaah. Not lobstaaah.
