I am so glad I got an answer from the crew I've fly fished for over 40 years but never learned to nymph fish but thanks to all of you i'm going to try and learn on my own. I've want to ty your nymphs they really look great I'm seventy four years old so I cant fool around but i'll do my best keep up the great nymph patterns take care

Tony, Thanks so much and let me know how it works for you all. BTW, I also still watch and study boxing and your heavyweight Joseph Parker is fun to watch. I didn't like the headbutt he was hit with in his last fight with D. White and I'm sure it had something to do with the outcome. I really thought he was going to close the show in the final round, but regardless he fought a great fight and I'm looking forward to his next fight. Good day Benny, I love boxing in fact i have 2 golden gloves championship under me belt, when i was a young lad about 18 years old, that is, oh,, about 55 years ago,,hahahaha. Joseph is a great champ, cool and collective and very good manner and respectful, i was sure he would win his last fight but it did not happen. He is running for local election and i hope he wins it, but what effect it will have on his boxing courier no one would know,, i certainly have a lot of respect for him. I have a couple of guys to take to Taupo area in two weeks time for 6 days and the following week another guy of 7 day to Rotorua lake,, both place have some big trout hopefully we will have a few of them jump on our lines. Best of luck on your fishing adventures in the next few weeks and let's keep our fingers crossed that Joseph gets back on track in the win category and brings home a win in the election as well. He is a great role model in the sport and maybe next go round with Anthony Joshua he will be a little less shy and pull the trigger on more big punches. As far as the White fight goes it was bad breaks for him and I do have the respect for all of these fighters. Anyone willing to step into the squared circle has my respect. Best to you all!

I've seen the olive dunn (?) on the Lackawaxan River by Wallenpaupack lake. Would this green caddis work instead? Lot's of caddis throughout our area up here. Have you fished the Lackawaxan? Are you continuing to tie flies on youtube. I enjoy your instruction.

Hey Gerald, it is a caddis fly larva. Works great as most streams are full of caddis flies. Also the color is very attractive to trout so this helps as well. Best of luck when you get out on the water.

Thanks Ray and I wasn't sure where you were going with this at first, but your next comment made me realize it is the ad on the video.
