People think rabbits just hop around a few times, eats and sleeps and that's it.., they're so wrong! Rabbits who live a happy life act like this! My rabbit is CRAZY when I sit down in the sofa with some food.. he literally jumps up into my lap and tries to steal my food! He's really hyper, for sure...
Yes, they make wonderful pets. They're crazy like this but they're also very sweet & cuddly. Ours would cuddle for an hour or more at a time. My kids would come home after school, let them out, lay on the living room floor with them, cuddle up & fall asleep. Afternoon bunny naps!
This video brought me memories. My bunny died in 22th september in 2014 :( I miss for her to much. I hope, that now is there were grass is forever green. Bunnies are best friends!
Yep! They do it to express pure Joy and to show off thier moves of course...I saw a Mummy Bunny defending her babies from a snake...She pulled out moves of a top Ninja...!! & beat that slithery threat.
Love this! My bunnies used to include a set of carpeted stairs in their "bunny 500", They could clear 13 stairs in 2 leaps! They are 10 years old now so the crazy antics are much less. Anybody who thinks bunnys don't "do" anything, let them out of the freakin cage and into the house. Then you will see their true personalities. They should never be left out in a hutch especially. That's a horrible existence for a bunny. Check out a bunny rescue place too, not the pet store.
This video is the reason I bought my rabbit 6 and a half years ago. I though a bunny would be a colorful pet. I'm watching this video again after all these years because my little rabbit passed away recently at the age of 6 and a half. Thanks for making this video. It convinced me to buy the best pet I've ever had.
I thought it would be an interesting fact for you to know that a year ago your video was the ONLY WAY i was able to calm my kid down for nail cutting :D So in our family this video is a really good deed. She still enjoys it and so do I!
Billy is a typical Netherland Dwarf----full of fun, energy, and attitude! Great videos Spekkioxlv! We love them, but this one is the best! Most people have no clue how great rabbits can be as housepets. Just as smart as a cat or dog, cleaner, and just as loving and social (and quieter!). All of ours use litterboxes, and I think are easier to litter-train than a cat is. Rabbits 'get it' right off! Thanks for sharing Billy with the world!
I don't know how many time I keep coming back to this video but I just love your Energizer Bunny and Queen! My only pet that I've ever had and bonded with immediately is a rabbit. They're so lovable and awesome.
Not necessarily. Each rabbit has their own personality, which means they prefer different places. My rabbit is currently lying down in the garden after running around outside, when I bring her in she is just as happy inside and sometimes is even happier climbing up the stairs and exploring the different world that is upstairs
Aww, that's so cute! Such a happy bunny, happy jumps- one after the other. Seriously wish I had that much carpet for my bunny. The wooden floors doesn't really work that well when he wants to run :P
We don't know but in the morning he was laying on the floor so my dad took him to the vets really quick and they said to put him down and so sorry to her about yours❤️❤️😭😘xoxox
No joke this is the first video i ever watched on youtube. i remember it to this day. Altrough the bunny is most likely dead now i will forever remember this video.
Billy bunny looked exactly like my bunny 窄寶ㄦQQ. She past away 10 years ago. I miss her everyday. I wish I have had videotaped her like Billy. Whenever I miss her I visit Billy's youtube. Thanks for uploading Billy's video.
Hahaa!! Look at him go man he is fast😂! That last clip where he flipped himself off the bed and then paused for a second to figure what happened looool! I hollered 🤣🤣🤣
MY Netherland used to do this Bunny 500 like this every morning with his cat and his mate. Now he's old, about 90 the vet says so there are no 500s. .just running when he has to 'gotta go gotta go gotta go right now' to his litter box.. I love this video so so much, thank you for making and posting it!
All Rabbits will do this before grooming. They do it to flick off any loose material off their paws (such as fur/sand) so their mouths aren't full of it.
Rabbits are small mammals in the family Leporidae of the order Lagomorpha, found in several parts of the world. There are eight different genera in the family classified as rabbits, including the European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus), cottontail rabbits (genusSylvilagus; 13 species), and the Amami rabbit (Pentalagus furnessi, an endangered species on Amami Ōshima, Japan). There are many other species of rabbit, and these, along with pikas and hares, make up the order Lagomorpha. The male is called a buck and the female is a doe; a young rabbit is a kitten or kit.
Domestic rabbits can be kept as pets in a back yard hutch or indoors in a cage or house trained to have free roam. Rabbits kept indoors are often referred to as house rabbits. House rabbits typically have an indoor pen or cage and a rabbit-safe place to run and exercise, such as an exercise pen, living room or family room. Rabbits can be trained to use a litter box and some can learn to come when called. Domestic rabbits that do not live indoors can also serve as companions for their owners, typically living in a protected hutch outdoors. Some pet rabbits live in runs/arks during the day for the benefit of fresh air and natural daylight and are brought inside at night.Whether indoor or outdoor, pet rabbits' pens should be equipped with enrichment activities such as shelves, tunnels, balls, and other toys. Pet rabbits are often provided additional space in which to get exercise, simulating the open space a rabbit would traverse in the wild. Exercise pens or lawn pens are often used to provide a safe place for rabbits to run.A pet rabbit's diet typically consists of timothy-grass or other hay, a small amount of pellets, and a fair quantity of fresh vegetables. They also need unrestricted access to fresh clean water. Rabbits are social animals. Rabbits as pets can find their companionship with a variety of creatures, including humans, other rabbits, birds, chinchillas, guinea pigs, and sometimes even cats and dogs (however they require supervision when with dogs and cats, as they might be preyed upon or attacked by these animals). As prey animals, rabbits are alert, timid creatures that startle fairly easily. They have fragile bones, especially in their backs, that require support on the belly and bottom when picked up. Therefore, rabbits do not make good pets for younger children. Older children and teenagers usually have the maturity required to care for a rabbit.[21]AggressionRabbits may grunt, lunge and even bite or scratch. Usually they do not bite hard enough to break skin. Rabbits become aggressive when they feel threatened or are cornered. The House Rabbit Society says that the owner of the pet needs to win its trust, with certain behavioral tools.[22]
my netherland dwarf just became a free range bunny last night and was acting like this all of last night. it was especially good b/c the day before yesterday, she had a possible gi stasis and had a very stressful day at the vet. it was nice to see her so happy
I recently was bunny-sitting a pair of dutch rabbits who were very cute and it was a delight to see them really happy running around the house and binky-ing everywhere :D thanks for reminding me how cute it is!
This your bunny ( pic of nice calm snoozy bunny pile) This is your bunny on drugs (above video) Seriously, the little hair ball is jet propelled or something!
I had a Netherland Dwarf rabbit named Yuki, he was a speed bullet too XDU. Can't remember how many drawings he tore apart and how many times I failed to catch him. Cute video
Ohmygosh! This is the funniest, cutest bun video I have seen in a long time! I can't stop laughing. One of my bunnies does only "half" of what this little cutie does. Thanks for sharing!
@TheChinababy Thank you for breaking down the rabbits emotions for us. I was worried at first until you told us this rabbit was happy. I was thinking he was really really mad. But now I think you are right. 100% right. How joyfull this is for me.
