Dina A It could have been a sun tan from playing in the sun as a youth, if she did that.. Because her color looks lighter now, and her shoulders and face are the same color. Years ago, saw a picture of myself at 10 and didn't recognize myself because of a deep tan I hadn't been aware of, since I was only a child. I never let that happen again. 😊 Got to protect from cancer.
Dina A Yes and I left a comment about it. It's obviously a tan. Plus she said that was from her 8th grade graduation, which would've been in June. So it makes sense that she was darker.
Oh I would give anything to go back to my late teens/early 20s. I agree with Eve, I would tell my young self to follow my heart instead of trying to please other people
Women of color tend to look lighter in the Fall, Winter & Spring & darker in the Summer. That's how my skin color works, depending on the Sun's exposure kissing our melanin. Our skin automatically turns golden when the Sun blesses it. I looked way darker in my pics living in Cape Verde. Now I look like a ghost pale as hell living in USA lol. Gotta move to Florida ASAP I love my tan ! Anyways, IT'S NOT ALWAYS BLEACH when you see a difference in skin color - to whom thought Eve or anybody else's bleached their skin !!!

agreed E-V-E needs a permanent seat. She fits right in and I love that there is no shouting over one another. They all seem like true girlfriends having girl chat. The tension is definitely gone this season.

I think sometimes the hosts need to learn how to be like Eve in this one particular aspect that i respect a lot. I don't know anything about Eve (I learnt what her name was from the comment section!), but seeing her in a couple of videos of the Real, she is so gentlewomanly, and just lets other people talk without interrupting them. I find it annoying on the show when everyone's talking over each other and I sometimes struggle to understand what one person's trying to put across. The enthusiasm is appreciated, but it's more important to make sure that we're all being heard here. And I love how Eve manages to do it even if that causes her to get pushed into the background till she's spoken to. Kudos to you, Eve.
Madison I get where you're coming from, but I'm not even saying that they should "be like Eve". I'm just saying that they should let others talk instead of all of them talking at the same time, which they tend to do quite often.
Christ's Soldier Go watch the Talk or something. They have limited time and you have to talk over people to be heard on these type of shows. Eve is a guest, so she was probably being polite.
I absolutely loveeee Eve and loved her on the show. She fit so well with everyone, please bring her back. I wouldn't mind if she became the 5th cohost!!
I'm assuming some of y'all are two young to realize that pictures and even television of people in the 90's and before were a lot darker then today, especially if not in ideal conditions. Just because someone appears darker in a photo doesn't mean they're bleaching. Eve has always been pretty light from her youth.
She probably doesn't have many or access to many. They did a baby pic segment once and she joked around for hers (putting her face on a baby's body), but she probs just didn't have anything to share :-(
