What he said is true, but we Jakartans are always grateful that even though we live in poverty, we Indonesians always warmly welcome citizens of the world who visit Indonesia.
Kristian Hansen lives and works in Jakarta since February 6 2020. Even though he works for a bona fide company and gets a big salary, he feels unhappy with his job. Finally he decided to resign from his job and traveled around Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke by motorbike. He wants to learn and get to know Indonesian people and about Indonesia. He focuses on making videos that describe and show the natural beauty of Indonesia which he will use as a documentation of his journey. He started a journey around Indonesia in 2022 8:40 She says she's been trading there for 25 years. Even though she is 63 years old, h she is still healthy and enthusiastic. 18:03 He's lived there for 25 years. He felt happy living there. 18:23 She loves living there.
It seems that Uncle D likes Indonesians, even the former American president Barack Obama lived in Jakarta, Indonesia when he was small, went with his stepfather, he likes fried rice and satay. Maybe Americans don't know a little about the history between Indonesia and Mr. Obama
I think ... being grateful is the result of not being greedy and Indonesians are communal people, they basically can't live individually - let alone they have to live in the neighbourhood shown in video and this way of communal life is already rooted from our ancestors - farmers work together, fishermen work together, hunters work together ... I mean even in US, long time ago, the American's ancestors also worked together inside a community or colony When you already feel attached or connected with your neighbourhood/community ... there's no way you're gonna be individual, or even being greedy ... like it or not, you have to share - one for all, all for one - you share your happiness and also your sorrow (difficulties) with others ... and finally you become a grateful person ... since you're get used to see and feel others' feeling too ❤️❤️❤️ so I think, this is one of many other reasons, why the Indonesians are (more or less) grateful to what they have and always smile - as long as they have their togetherness with others, they believe every hard times are easier to go through
selamat pagi means good morning in bahasa indonesia... but if you visit other place like bandung west java, you can say wilujeng enjing, or yogyakarta central java you can say sugeng enjang... it depends on place where you visit, because indonesia has a lot of local languages... all etnics speak in their own languages but if they meet each other they use bahasa indonesia as national language...
The country of Indonesia is very rich, the earth is beautiful, the people are friendly, they like to help and help anyone, regardless of race, ethnicity or religion
Indonesia is a country rich in natural resources, mining and agriculture, culture and culinary. Indonesia's nature is very beautiful. waterfall, the peak of Mount JayaWijaya eternal ice, Mount Bromo Tengger Semeru, Mount Ijen, Bali Island, Samosir Island, Derawan Island, Banda Island, Raja Ampat, Labuhan Bajo, Toraja land, Kalimutu lake 3 colors, Bunaken many more, 1 year time you roaming is not enough. 🙏
As a big city that is growing, many Indonesians from outside the city of Jakarta came in the 70s without sufficient skills and education, with expensive land prices they tried to survive... the good thing is their friendliness is not lost.
06:47 That's "tempe" (not nougat), fermented soybeans. We Indonesians, eat tempe almost every day, we eat it as a side dish or snack. Tempe is usually fried with a little seasoning, it tastes savory and delicious.
For me, Jakarta life is too hard for people from outside the city. There are many who are friendlier and more relaxed. But Jakarta is enough to be the face of Indonesian hospitality in the future. Uncle D's spirit
Please,...please respond to the title below... this is a collaboration between AGT America and the winner of voice of Germany from Indonesia "One Last Cry - Brian Mcknight Cover by Putri Ariani x Audi Emmanuela" Awesome indeed
Saya pernah lihat video ini di channel aslinya. Tidak adil..jika belum mengetahui secara penuh.sebuah wilayah.Jakarta terdapat bermacam area..yg mrmiliki.karakteristik sesuai.kelasnya

most jakartan people are muslim, they practice fasting one month during ramadan, they don't eat an drink from sunrise until sunset. this activity makes them more patient...
Kristian has explored Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke. Kristian is a good person and understands the character of Indonesian people who have different religious ethnicities . Indeed, Christian can be a reference for people who want to come to Indonesia. Many of his RU-vid are real as they are
@@andysinaga575 ya ga papa, mau di apain, emang kenyataannya kaya gitu,Indonesia terlalu besar untuk di pegang 1 pemimpin, kan tau sendiri lebih banyak yg korupnya,ya mau ga mau buat kehidupan kita harus cari jalan sendiri, cuma bisa doa semoga makmur, dari nene moyang kita doanya udah kaya gitu.tapi lagi2 kita sendiri yg harus cari cara buat ngerubah hidup.cape ngomong sama yg di atas2 tuh yang katanya pemimpin, sama ajah kaya ngomong sama ember.kaga usah malu.
I don't think it's slum area because that's typical of indonesian houses, they live there long time ago for years before high building to be built, they have refrigerator, fan, air conditioner, tv and motor cycle even a car the important thing is since they live in middle of city their lands and their houses so expensive if they sell their house they would get alot of money.
majority of us still holds simple life philosophy . there's no use to complain because it wont change anything just do what we can do best and leave the rest in God's hands and be grateful. suicide rate is considered lower than other countries partly because being religious (islam and non islam) commiting suicide is the biggest sin. usually those who commit it are young girls who get pregnant before marriage and the bf refuse to take reponsible (lately)
