Who's story should we cover next? Thank you to everyone tuning in! I know the editing isn't perfect but expect the quality to only improve from here. 👊👑
I think you did a good job it would be good if you can actually get him to work with you on another documentary about him also Colby Covington said that common cold almost killed him
Nobody is talking about the next champ at light heavyweight Ankalaev. A fight with him and Jiri will be huge but Ankalaev will take him down and keep him there and will reign at 205 for years. If I were you I would get on board w him right now.
Great job on this man ! You found relevant pics and videos to help tell the story; well researched - very good .. one small thing I’d suggest is maybe changing the music occasionally - maybe when you get to different sections of the story. Makes the viewer feel like they’re moving through the story and will seem a little more polished you know ?
We were kids who had to escape from our country because of war. The difference between khamzat and the other fighters is the mentality and the spirit. We are warrior descendants. I'm not flexing or anything but it's the truth
@@ht-th456 Its been said that dude is a machine in training. Darren Till pretty much confirmed it. But ofc time will tell, and eventually we'll find out how great his gas tank is or isnt.
@@zifzone he was not ready for covid true but many weren't. It has affected many people in strange and unexpected ways. I don't think it's a sign of weakness on his part. He might've handled a different virus pretty well.
@@zifzone its a desease wtf u expect he probably is very scared from diseases cuz he had a fkin mental breakdown when he got it insanely tough in fighting but u gotta realise he still has other fears wich do not relate to fighting every fighter has
I don't think I've been this excited for a fighter ever. Many hype trains have fallen in the past but I feel like it's never been safer than now to say that this guy will likely become a champion, potentially more than one division.
True that, i guess this guy will be able to be the GOAT of his time! Such a hungry guy! Miss that in a lot of fighters, But i will bet on the fact he will be champion in 2 different weight classes! I also admire people who has gone trough rough times and reach the top! They deserve this! Like for example Francis Nganou. Guy who came from far you must be aware of! They're hungry!😬
@Jimmy Bollocks name someone else who has done what he’s done at this stage in their career. Only person who has came even remotely close is Jon Jones who is a juice head
As a wrestler, going against bigger opponents like coaches, older students and my dad and brother, all helped me with taking on people my size tremendously.
If he beats Burns convincingly, Khamzat is really going somewhere in UFC. Let's hope success and money does not ruin him as a fighter as it did Conor McGregor.
@@davidlicea9192 did the biggest weight cut in the history of weight cuts to fight tiny little aldo and than fought Eddie who's the worst ligh weight champ in history. Never ever defending either belts, lost 3 out of his last 4 fights. Yes very overrated for sure. Take conors ass out your nose.
@@mikeyounes2756 nah I think you should take your nose out of conors ass you sniffing around with too much hate. Everybody's weight cutting to get an advantage right now why don't you mention khabib as well then?
He’s my 100% favourite fighter in years. And I’m loving the Till & Hamzat story too. I can’t see anyone beating him tbh. Even at 185. At 170 he has weight bully on his side as well even though he doesn’t need it. Usman better try and get another defence or 2 in if he’s lucky cause the night he meets Hamzat his reign is over.
Usman and adesanya are legendary mma fighters and I think the fan base underrates them. Those brown boys definetly seem a bit worried about khamzat in their eyes, tone when they are asked about him or talk about him though.
@@Titiseefighter Actually 2 times according to UFC's statistic. But yeah, you could say once really since one of them punches was by his opponent when Khamzat had his back. It was a desperation shot with 0 power
But he hasn't even fought any top contenders...top contenders don't let themselves lose...all I see the way he's gonna lose first time with gilbert burns
@@CovertPhilosopher that's true. Smarter to retire on a dominant run before someone takes the belt from him... i see him beating Edwards and whoever is next and then retiring fr it's a shame because his fights are great to watch but his legacy is secure af 💯 I kinda want to see Colby get the strap too though so maybe if kamaru retires colby could fight someone else for the belt in an interim fight?
LOL “likely be a champ” he will be the greatest of all time above the likes of Anderson Silva and GSP. Anderson Silva and GSP couldn’t finish fights the way he does and they were fighting at the early stages of the sport against people that were not nearly as good as mixed martial artists today.
@@Triggernometry7 calm tf down he's finished a few nobodies. Wait until he's actually proved himself before saying stuff like that. Silva and gsp have nothing left to prove, they are legends. Khamzat isn't yet.
From a guy who has seen an absolute ton of documentaries, what you compiled in 12 minutes I think is absolutely fantastic and you kept the momentum moving forward and fascinating. Keep up the great work and if I were to suggest another video, I would probably suggested on none other than the undefeated Chael Sonnen or One of my all-time favorites Evan Tanner
He might be the next superstar . Not the izzy kind of star but the Mcgregor/GSP/Rousey star. Lots of my casuals friends know about khamzat that says alot to me
@@pcostyle11 I could see that if he continues being undefeated and is a double champ. Yeah it seems like he is getting all eyes on him in the MMA world right now, but April 9th numbers will be the real showing. It’s so stacked it should pull in huge PPVs.
@@keith3946 so you think there's nothing special about him? When I watched Jon Jones fight stephan bonnar etc. I knew he was on another level completely. It's the same with Khamzat Chimaev. In my opinion he needs to fight Usman when Usman is still in his prime.
@@keith3946 "i have absolutely no training or knowledge of martial arts, but take my dumb af opinions seriously." dumbest shit i've seen today. well done.
"Starched" refers to a full blown k.o. that caused the body to immediately stiffen in a defensive response to the immediate lack of consciousness. Starch stiffens things.
So funny to hear people throw around this term and not actually know what it means. He referred to almost every win in this video as a starch except for the only knockout that could possibly be considered one, lol
God made khamzat breathing only with one nostril since age of 2 because He knew if Khamzat breathing normally he wouldnt leave enough oxygen for all of us in the world. Thank you God
How do you only have 711 subscribers? I'm lucky to be 712 and I can't wait to see whoever you cover next and until then I shall binge watch your channel. Keep up the good work.
Its just like some anime where the mc has a rough childhood but all the harshness makes him more powerful.. Just hope the hype train doesnt crash.. can't wait for his upcoming matches
Solid video brother. Keep up the good work! I see Chimaev in a while new light. This man struggled. So good to see him become successful and take care of his family.
Hard to discount him when everyone he has beaten has gone on to do really well in their next fights. Maybe he hasn't fought top 10 yet, but he's stormed through the next generation of fighters
@@geekvinos Ngannou is once in a lifetime if I've ever seen it. The fact he is rough around the edges and started fighting so late only make him more of a phenomenon. But I get what you mean. Khamzat is a techniqually outstanding savage and we haven't even seen the limits of his skill yet. (I'd still refer back to the terrifying improvements in grappling Ngannou showed in the Stipe 2 fight.) Based on what information is Ngannou on steroids? I've seen several people say Khamzat is on the juice too. But I generally take yt comments with a grain of salt.
Another crazy thing about khamzat, he is going to fight Burns during the holy month of Ramadan, about few days after the first day of Ramadan where he fasts everyday for 16+ hours, dry fasting, it is going to impact his stamina one way or another but i hope that he has a great team. He's taking a huge risk here against a guy like Burns, i hope he gets the win and surprises me even more
@@ghgzree9984 he's a Muslim, he's religious and prays consistently from what i saw. Not sure if you're a Muslim or not, but in case you're not, fasting is not optional, so he has to be fasting, i mean not just that day, he will be affected by the stamina loss of about 7days of fasting already
@@pacman780 I am muslim. Khamzat doesn't really come off as a strict religious person (taking pictures with half naked ring girls, cursing etc.). I think he won't be fasting because normally Muslim fighters never fight in ramadan because of the fasting disadvantage when fighting.
@@ghgzree9984 he did what he did yes but he prays from what i could tell, he never felt ashamed of saying he's a Muslim and having islamic morals. Anyway it's not for me to judge him i just hope god guides him. Other than that, khamzat has rough circumstances, he needs money and he's working while his body allows him so maybe he felt an obligation to keep the hype train running
When Khamzat gets that belt he will reign for a long time as champion, look I realize Usman is a legit champion and has fought anyone that would get in there with him and has won convincingly every bout since his only loss to Jose Caceres and has actually gotten better for every fight, but in my humble opinion Khamzat is on a different level, as good as Usman is Khamzat is better and if you think about that; it's actually scary....
Khamzat has a lot of promise but come on dude, usman is P4P king and has crushed every top fighter in the division. It’s way too early to say khamzat is on another level than usman. You’re basically calling him the MMA goat when he’s had 4 fights with low or unranked opponents.
@@jaredking7540 when he beats Gilbert Burns he will b number 2 do you think the UFC is going to make another Colby versus Usman fight really think about? they're saying it might be the number one contender spot type of fight. so who do you think's going to fight for the title next? like I said regardless I will come back to this post after they get in the octagon
@@jaredking7540 and I'm not calling him the MMA goat. to me Usman isn't the MMA goat that would go to GSP when you're talking about of all times. if you're referring to at the moment who's the best fighter you think Usman is pound for pound I don't, don't get me wrong he's talented out the gills. But see something different from Khamzat. but when it comes at career when it's said and done he'll be in the conversation highly as a goat prospect
@@jamesjameson4566 Chechnya is under Russian occupation, didn't u get it from the vid. U'll will end up sent to wars, like today, which have nothing to do with u
DAMM SON ,top fight channel ,glad to be a new subscriber and liked straight after 20 seconds ,good content and will definetly get the word out,if you have the time or motivation could you run a story on my favourite fighter when i first got into MMA ,Bas Rutten once again excellent channel and the narration was proffesional very easy to listen to no eeers or uhhhmms ,on point
Subscribed for the good content but just a heads up - your audio drops out at random points and sometimes jumps in volume, it's also hard to hear your voiceover when you play audio from other clips underneath. Great to see all the early footage and photos though, keep up the good work!
He's got that caucuses mountain people strength. Way stronger than he looks. And that same obsessed focus and drive that Khabob had. Nothing will stop this guy from being champion. He matches up very well with Usman. I think he'd actually have a harder time with Izzy.
The uppercut was glorious but the movement after is also pretty fucking genius. Was already 2 steps ahead after executing the uppercut. Khamzat his fight IQ is massive.
Awesome video man, I love Khamzat and believe he’s the only welterweight that has the tools and a chance to be Usman as of now!! Can’t wait to see him fight burns this fight will tell us alot about how “real” this guy is but I’d predict him winning by a first round tko or submission
Colby will NEVER step in w Khamzat. That is the real reason for the DP call out. Everyone knows he will beat Burns and then the Colby fight or title fight is all that makes sense. Colby will change weight classes to avoid Khamzat. If they ever fight it will be at 85, not 70.
Hamza is his name. Khamzat is just the way that they say the name over there where he is from. And he is as brave and serious of a fighter as the name he's carrying. If you're a Muslim, then you should know who Hamza was.
This narrator says things that are simply wrong. He said the phraze "I'm hungry" is literal but by this he means hungry for a better life. That makes it a metaphor.
I mean he's clearly a bit newer to making videos, I thought that it was on the whole a good video and an interesting deep dive that touched on some less known topics, what does the narrators understanding of metaphors have to do with the topic? Also you spelled phrase incorrectly, since we're being shallow and pedantic.
There was a clip that may have been cut out where I said his mother and family often skipped meals because of how poor they were, that’s what I was referring to. lil error
“Starching” doesn’t mean beating an opponent, or getting a submission, or getting a TKO. It means knocking a person out so their body goes stiff. Like a starched collar. You are misusing the word. Words have meaning, and you should use them accordingly.
This is MMA everyone is invincible until...and yes he is special but my dad told me i was special and look at me now...professional keyboard warrior with liquid courage
