@@ThePackman627 not true both the defender and receiver are allowed to play the ball in the air, the flag was thrown when the ref saw the defender playing it but with a 50/50 ball like that the flag would have been picked up lol. thats why theres never DPI on hail mary's even though there are tons of pushing and shoving because all players are allowed to equally play the football
They picked up the flag afterward, but I'm pretty sure they only did that because of how incredibly it turned out. It definitely should have been DPI, and I'm fairly sure the refs would have kept that penalty on if Aiyuk hadn't caught it anyway.
was overhearing a dbag at the gym talk about how Purdy played like shit and "if the DB woulda picked off that ball". 1. the DB is a DB because he can't catch lol. 2, like everyone's saying, it was probably DPI, though the DB made a good play by staying over the route. 3. if the DB wasn't there, the ball would've been perfectly placed for BA to catch it@@Wolfeson28
Sometimes it feels like people don't watch film at all. Here is a detail you miss if you haven't watched the film from the game: The "overthrown ball" to BA that was nearly a pick was VERY clear pass interference much ealier in the play. He was bumped off his route about 20 yards down the field and shoved backwards....this was not an overthrown ball, it was clear pass interference.
The contact down field is fine by me, but if the wr moved backwards (by force from a defender) then that's a penalty. However, that ball should've been caught by the wr regardless. It hit him IN THE FACE! 😂 Being pushed at any time other than during the attempt doesn't excuse that missed opportunity. That play was bad execution from the defender, the wr and the refs. They all fkd up at some point.😂
Did the foul happen before the attempted catch, or during the attempt? This is an important distinction because: if it was during the route and not the attempt, then there is not excuse not to catch a ball that hits you in the FACE! 😂 He would've had plenty of time to adjust during the catch, and wouldn't've been hit in the FACE. If it happened during the attempted catch, then that changes everything. He could've been ready to catch the ball perfectly, but was moved (in mid air) and couldn't adjust in time.
@@the_SolLoser BA is Brandon Aiyuk the 49er player. Basically if the defender had caught it it should have been PI and the 49ers get a huge play anyway. The ball bouncing off the facemask to be caught was just the cherry on top of a terrible collapse.
@@the_SolLoser Ummm... No. Alot of people acting like it was a bad pass that they got lucky on because the defender has feet for hand and it bounced off his face. No. The only reason it was over Aiyuk's hands was because the defender committed the penalty. If the penalty had not been committed it would have been a perfect pass...
Unfortunately the biggest issue for the lions was the receivers just not catching the ball and the defense giving up every single tackle after the 2nd half
Yup. Just because you are winning early doesn't mean the game is over. Especially in the playoffs. See: Atlanta; 28-3 or Houston; 35-3. The city of Atlanta has Tom Brady as their #2 all-time enemy because of Super Bowl LI. #1 is and always will be Gen. William T. Sherman.
Also note Brandon Aiyuk was interfered with but the catch was so impressive that the Refs picked up the flag. I am a Niners fan and I have no problem rooting for the Lions if they won. Which we see they didn't. Campbell's ball the wall going for it on 4th would drive any coach mad. Also note you forgot CJ Gardener-Johnson waving to the crowd in the second quarter. Dude it's not even halftime and you are waving to the crowd like you won; you have to play 4 Quarters of football to win the game.
In 1957, the 49ers and Lions faced each other for the Championship and the 49ers had the half time lead. The story is that the Lions players heard the 49ers popping champaign bottles in the locker room next door or whatever at half time. Lions came out passed and energized to whoop on the 49ers. I knew that story from playing Madden 03 or whatever it was that had little factoids. I felt it happening for us when CJGJ started to wave to the crowd before half time. That helped me relax.
@@giannidisumma2948 - There is a satisfaction in taunting a taunter back. When Winfield Jr gave Hill the peace ✌️ sign in the Super Bowl, that was fantastic. When playing Madden in tournaments on the PS2, there were some obnoxious and disrespectful ish talkers. It always felt good to mock it back to their face as they lost. I never started it, but I made sure to finish it.
I watched the entire game…love the NFL and had no preference about who won. Maybe slightly Lions since they’ve never been to the SB, but no big deal. The turning point absolutely was the 4th down stop. Sf scored 3, then the Lions chewed some more time off the clock and had a decent opportunity to put 3 on the board negating SFs score. Yet….the Lions decided to go for it. It made no sense to me….especially in a league where big momentum and point shifts are common…much more common than blowouts, which is what the Lions were going for. That missed opportunity deflated them, and then the snowball just kept rolling. They absolutely could do nothing right after that. It was amazing to see. Moral of the story? As if we didn’t already know, a 17 point lead in the NFL at the beginning of the third quarter means very little. You take the points when you can take the points if you have a 17 point lead. A 20 point lead put SF further into the mental hole…who knows what would happen. Based on every miscue and every ball bouncing SFs way in the second half, it appeared that God himself didn’t want the Lions in the SB this year….again, an amazing spectacle.
I said it too… it’s as if God was watching too and said don’t be greedy take what the defense gives you… Dan missed the message and did it AGAIN instead of tying the game. I knew we would score the last time and lose by 3 having not tried for 6 pts can’t make this stuff up
Yeah, missing that 4th down conv felt fatal in real time. I literally breathed a sigh of relief when he took the points at the end of the half. Your D held them to 3 in the beginning of the 2nd half, they did their job, zero points would be ideal, but it's SF at home. Tharlt failed 4th down conv was the spark SF needed, team & crowd. I didn't have any idea the wheels would fall off the Lion's wagon as fast as they did, but I wasn't surprised. They had a superior team on the roaps, they had the crowd pretty much hushed, then they gave them the spark, that's all it takes.
No gaurantee he would've made that field goal, it was way too deep. Had they went for it and missed the field goal you guys'd be getting on campbell for that. It's easy to blame the coach on these minor details. The defense just collapsed in the second half, the offense had already did there part.
Aweful interception throw? Watch Chase Daniels break down. That was DPI. Both players made a play on the ball, but the defender bumps and slows down Aiyuk which is DPI. If Aiyuk did that, it would be OPI.
What are you talking about? Slowing down to adjust to an underthrown ball and let the DB run you over has been getting called all season long. All of a sudden the DB has position and Aiyuk tries to run him over and its still on the defense?
@@testattestdotnet NFL is not about to erase a highlight moment of the championship. It will go down as the start of a comeback that is headed to the HOF in Canton. The next series of events is comparable to the planets aligning at the right moment. If any of the 6 major mistakes the Lions committed did not happen, they would be going to the SB. It was a perfect storm.
Some people said the Cowboys choked, but as much as they sucked, they were never in that game. This was the real choke job here. I'll say this for the Lions though: Unlike the Ravens, they stuck with what got them there and didn't suddenly try and change the nature of their team.
The best coaches adapt. They don't just stick with "what got them there" mentality when there is no tomorrow. Campbell cost them the game with his low IQ, gung-ho, all or nothing coaching style in the 2nd half. You do not leave points on the board against an elite team. You do that during the regular season when you have time to take these chances. And because he was stubborn and made this foolish decisions he cost them the game.
Yeah sticking to the Lions formula will get you there but not over the hump......dont rationalize dumb decisions. Like running across a freeway, you can make it it you time if you right (kinda like Detroit fans saying if we just executed) but no one would ever say that would be a good decision to do it.
@@Fbanz96 Are you really going to blame the coach for a play call when guys are dropping balls that hit them in the hands? That's literally about the execution. They choked, but that was on the players not the play calls. Maybe the coach could have done something to prepare them mentally better, but that's different than play calling. The Ravens, on the other hand, never even gave themselves a chance with suddenly trying to be a different team while simultaneously playing into the strength of the other team's defense. The Lions decisions are, at least, understandable, the Ravens aren't.
I felt the momentum die the moment they wemt for it on 4th while in FG range. Once they failed it I knew SF was going to win, been watching football long enough to know you can't let a team like SF catch it's breath, let alone give it to them. Never saw the 3rd quarter collapse coming though. All it takes is one play, momentum is a killer
@@chizorama Niners aren't even all that bro. Lions just kept straight up giving them the ball with amazing field position and lions dropped every crucial pass the niners didn't defend well the lions just started playing like shit
I’m a life long Steeler fan that has lived here in Michigan since 95. I was hoping the Lions would be SB bound myself. This is easy to say from outside the fishbowl looking in, “They are a Team, They win as a Team, They loose as a Team. This is why the game is played. Was there dropped passes, missed tackles, bad play calling ( in our minds, because if they had succeeded in the play it would make the coach look like a genius), etc..My Steelers can loose to a 2 - 10 team turn around and tromp a 13 - 1 team the next week. I’m sorry the Lions came up short but it was a Team effort. It is very easy to sit in the arm chair and coach / quarterback but when you’re on the field it’s a whole lot different.
If the Lions take the points they win. At least take the 3 to have a shot of recovering in OT. At the end of the day it's all 'whatever' and a huge disappointment for Detroit fans.
Campbell could have made better decisions down at the very tail end of it like just rushing the FG unit on after the failed run (which probably shouldn't have been called anyway) but literally any of those freak drops whether for a 1st or INT and we're not even having this discussion since the Lions win. Just a freak accidently of a game and result really
Don’t call it an accident. It’s obvious isn’t it? Cmon guys. Don’t sugar coat is or cope. The lions let the pressure of the moment get to them. Receiver could not catch bc the lights were too bright. The almost interception into a niners catch was him simply missing a hard grab. Aiyuk still had to come down with it. Lions thought they had it won but the moment got them. They lost all momentum . It was over for lions once the 2nd half started that’s just how the niners are. Not luck. Niners have dominated all season.
This team making it to the NFC Championship was a miracle! And MCDC was beyond coach of the year! He was the CULTURE SHOCK of the year! Cleveland had already been to this level recently. Comeback, Assistant Coach, and Coach of the Year? Maybe 1 of those were accurate in Jim Schwartz. I think Hamlin coming back from DEATH was more impressive than Flacco coming back from his couch. But, Campbell taking a team that started out 1-6 last year to their first playoff win in 32 years, much less the NFC Championship, is much more impressive to me. I didn't think it would be a question.
Many of the Lions players were probably thinking about being the first Lions team to make it to the superbowl, and it messed with their heads. It's the only explanation I can think of for such terrible mistakes by multiple players.
@@Idkwhattoput-p2s Lions kicker was 4 for 4 in post season including a 50+ game winner against the Rams.....sorry but thats a lot better odds than trying for 4th and 2 and 4th and 3 against the 49ers. Pull your head out...
I wouldn't give up on the Lions they got a platform to work from now I think they will be contenders from this year forward don't be disappointed be proud if they continue to do what they did this year they are in it to win it and if we don't win we will keep trying until we do because now we got a team that can do it and we got a good manager and we got a good coach this is not the end of the lions!!! If we keep everybody in place it can only get better go Lions
They will not be contenders....they got gifted the playoff win over the tams because the refs gave you that game...entirely rigged but Vegas made out..your coach deliberately lost as did your players...we have all been lied to.
I generally agree with what you have said. Then again, with a bit more luck, the Lions win this game fairly comfortably. They were clearly a better team from the get-go. The Niners were excellent after the break, but they enjoyed a fair bit of luck and took their chances every time in that second half. That's a very good team and good teams tend to do just that. The Lions will learn their lesson Im sure.
Dan didn't learn after the Dallas debacle and wouldn't own up to play calling. As a Lions fan I'm not sure about the coaching. Phenomenal job building motivation and team unity but it will all collapse with game management blunders.
I think Dan will learn a thing or two as well. He may tone down those ultra-aggressive calls next season. And you know, we'll be back in the playoffs next January. When was the last time the Lions fans could have said that with any confidence? @@toddjohnson271
As a Niners fan, even I would admit that Campbell should have just went for field goals instead of going for it. Up 24-10, you gotta kick it when you're at the 28 yard line. Woulda been 27-10, lead and a 27-10 lead would have been a hard deficit to overcome. And down 27-24, why go for it when you're at the 30 and can tie the game and even it up a 27-27. If that happens, it's anyone's game. Lastly, if you are going for it, shoulda ran the ball with Montgomery or Gibbs. Look, I'm a Niners fan. But I respect the Lions so much for becoming a true contending team and Dan Campbell is a great coach. If the niners weren't in that game I would have rooted for Detroit. I would like to see Detroit win a Super Bowl if its not the niners.
Dude when I saw him wave to the crowd I said to myself like wtf is he doing? Still so much ball to be played. This ain’t no joke. I had this weird feeling that we were gonna see some crazy shit and we saw some crazy shit. The lucky catch, dropped wide 4th down pass, Gibbs fumble, a crucial 3rd down dropped pass by Reynolds’s I think? Like it went south so fckn fast. Fun season and I’m looking forward to what’s next but man it stings for sure.
The Aiyuk pass was perfectly thrown. The safety stayed on top, impeding Aiyuk's route. That's why the ref threw the flag. Had Aiyuk not made the catch, the Niners would've had the ball near the goal line anyway.
Think of it this way. The Lions “curse” has been to consistently have a losing record. Now they have a good young team, a great coach and a winning culture. The curse has been broken.@@righteousisthelord180
how does a receiving corp catch nearly everything within 6' of them all season long and then start dropping balls thrown into their hands. Dan Campbell is NOT the scapegoat here. the receivers did not make catches. the front line did not stop the ball carriers. the secondary did not stop the ball carriers... either they got cocky (the defense was NOT a strong suit all season long) or the bookies got to them with their 7-1/2pt spread... no, Campbell was successful with that sort of play calling all season long and its NOT his fault. other than the team not being able to execute
As a 49er fan I had the wind knocked out of my sails barely 1 minute into the game when the Lions made a TD on like their second play. But in my mind I knew the second half was going to be different, Purdy plays really well under pressure. I kept thinking they scored 3 times in the first half so we gotta score 3 times in the second half. Sure enough the 3rd quarter saw the Niners flip the switch and crank up the heat.
The helmet bounce catch was bad luck for the Lions but after it happened they completely melted down and forgot how to play football. Sometimes these playoff games are just about who can keep their wits about them and execute at critical moments. Both the AFC and NFC championships were decided because the losing team just couldn't do that.
They pissed it away just like the game in Chicago. This team does not play 60 minutes almost ever. They only average 4 points all season in the 3 quarter. Forget about who to draft or what free agent to bring in. These guys are good enough if they just could score in the 3 quarter. Maybe script the third quarter. The media ask Campbell about it mid season and he did not want to talk about it. Now it cost them a trip to the SB. The farther we get from the 49ers game the more pissed I am that they just blew it! Blame one game on the players but the coaches own this second half scoring problem. It might have something to why Ben Johnson is not a HC now.
The 4th and 2 from the 28 when the 49er's had just kicked a FG to draw within 14. I get that everybody is so proud of Campbell going for it all season, but that should have been a Lions FG attempt. Make it and its back to a three score game and you tell the 49ers that you can match them score for score the rest of the way. Turn the ball over on downs and you create the opportunity for the 49ers to drive for a tocuhdown, which they did, and suddenly the three score lead you had half-time is a one score lead and the 49ers are back in it. That's the real bad call.
This. I'm shocked how many people believe coaches shouldn't adapt their play calling based on the situation. Adaptability is one of the greatest keys to success, and Campbell refusing to adapt and going for it when they're already up 14 was asinine.
I was fine with the second 4th down call. A FG only ties the game on the road late in the 4th quarter. If you kick the FG, you need at minimum a stop to send the game into OT, and a stop and score to win the game in regulation. And that's if you make the non-gimme FG. You're already in Niner territory, and it's only 3 yards for a first down. At some point, you just have to rely on players to make 50/50 plays.
Bottom line is that the moment was too much for some of the Lions' players and their HC. They're legitimately good, though, and if they learn from this they should be better because of it.
@@xanamayslavarussia4426The Packers are young too, it ain't so easy to make it as far as the Lions got. Hoping they make it back again, & hoping their experience will help guide them to better decision making next time, the playoffs are a different animal.

Re watch BA amazing catch. Purdy's throw was actually a really good one. It looked like BA and his defender got tangled up for a bit slowing down BA. Either way it was amazing concentration, amazing catch, and a good throw.
they shold start kicking on third down actually then no more fourth down. You would be calling Dan C a coward if he did that and the kicker missed. Fans like you are the worst make me sick
I am a 53 year old lions fan. I have tried to divorce my emotion from me childhood team. I was gutted Sunday. I would like to earnestly thank 49er fans for not rubbing it in. Dan Campbell, Gibbs, and josh Reynolds gave away our Super Bowl 😢😢😢
Fortunately, they get to keep Ben Johnson so we don't have to worry about Goff turning back into a pumpkin anytime soon. I'll give Campbell some leeway because it was his first playoff trip and he won 2 playoff games, which already makes him the greatest Lions coach of all time :D But for petes sake get a kicker you trust to make a 45 yard fg. I know you wanna run more clock and score another TD but even a FG means you withstood the Niners first punch of the half and held serve for 8 mins. Playing with the lead in the second half, especially a 3-score lead, maintaining the lead is just as good as increasing the lead because the clock increasingly becomes a bigger factor.
As a lifelong lions fan I take absolutely no issue with the 4th down call. Our kicker is sub-par and you know what, sometimes you take a risk and it doesn't pay off. We lived by the sword, we died by the sword. At least we have a head coach willing to put it all out there every drive of every game
Up 17 points? Ground attack, time management, & field position are your friends. Run the play clock to 2 seconds or less on every play. Stay inbounds on every play. Stopped on 3rd down, but out of FG range? *Punt.* Touchbacks are your friend when up three scores. No momentum switch via a good return. 80 yards to defend versus opponent taking over on their own 35-38 yard line after a missed 48y FG attempt or fake punt.
I'm not sure why you video describes the ball off of Vildor's helmet as basically an interception missed... if Aiyuk hadn't caught it then Vildor would have been flagged probably for Pass Interference for getting in the path of Aiyuk when Vildor slowed down and caused Aiyuk to bump into him. So, at worst, it would have been a 1st down for 49ers at the spot of the foul.
A view from the recliner. With about 7 min. to go in the 3rd. The Lions were still up 24 to 10. After that the Lions failed to make plays and the 49ers did. There were numerous plays that were critical that didn't go Detroit's way. We lost, that's the bottom line. I love Dan's gambling, but I thought we needed points to stop their momemen. We just didn't make the plays to make it happen.
Forget everything. The real issue is going for it on 4th when they could kick a field goal. So many teams have done this because 'the stats say it is worth it'. Burr why do the stats say that? Because in the past teams only used to go for it on 4th and inches or 4th and goal or when they needed a 1st down to stay in the game in the last two minutes of the game. Going for it on 4th and 2 in the 3rd or 2nd quarter is not the same at all. Your team doesn't feel its as important, and anyone can get 4th and inches on a qb sneak. Getting 4th and 2 from your rb who has to come from behind the qb giving the defense time to push the offensive line out of position is far more difficult.
You play as a team, win as a team, and lose as a team. I am so tired of the people on other videos talking about going for it on 4th down. Maybe the first time, but not the 2nd. Lions have Badgley, not Prater or Hanson. Never a sure 3 there. That 52 yard feel bounce off the face mask could only happen in a Lions game. There were dropped passes, poorly thrown passes to open receivers, and the defense forgot how to tackle in the 2nd half. The same people who complained about not going for the field goals would want Campbell as coach of the year if they converted. Disappointing for Lions fans, but still farther than anyone thought they would go. Most people I know thought the Rams were going to win by 2 scores. It was a heartbreaking way to lose, but overall a great season.
0:59 point of order, a flag was thrown on that play because, as the wide angle shows, Aiyuk was checked by Vildor well beyond 5 yards. The ball was thrown where Aiyuk would have been had he not been impeded. They picked up the flag, but it looked like pass interference.
Aiyuk couldn't have gotten to where the ball would have been thrown BECAUSE VILDOR GOT THERE FIRST. That's why Aiyuk initiated the contact, to try prevent an INT from a defender who had him beat. The fact that Aiyuk caused the contact is likely why the refs picked up the flag.
These guys as a team had never been on this stage. Were never SUPPOSED to be in this game. I think it gave the core of this team something that will come in handy down the road: EXPERIENCE OF THE MOMENT. Anybody talking about the calls just completely missed the failed execution of about 6 plays in crucial moments. Mental lapses. And whether they were due to the stage or not, I think it's something that will be more tight down the road.
The match was a pistol duel at 30 paces. Lions took the first shot and put a hole in the 49ers forehead. The 9ers lie there motionless until halftime and gets up and says, ‘now it’s my turn’.
Im a eagles fan who also hated to see the Lions collapse. When Campbell didnt take the points to make up the points SF had just got, I knew then the momentum and game would be over for the Lions. Sadly I was right. Campbell used false bravado and lost the game for his team who played lights out.
Is organization collapse the same as choke? No. It was neither. Only one team can win, it was the way the ball bounced off the helmet, the kick went a little to far, it was wet out there. As a Chicago fan I was rooting for the Lions. It’s just a game in the big picture. Hopefully next season comes.
The Ladybug Catch, or Immaculate Deflection, or whatever they’re gonna call it was preceded by pass interference. The defensive back is behind BA because he interfered with the receiver while the ball was in the air. It was an outstanding catch but even if he missed it the 49ers get the ball at the point of contact. The refs picked up the flag because BA caught the ball. Poor guy added insult to injury.
This video is correct but only covers our Offense leaving their execution behind. The Lions Defense started missing tackles at a high rate in that 3rd quarter as well.
I blame Gardner-Johnson for taunting the crowd in the second quarter. When he did that, don't ask me how I knew.....but I knew.....they'd end up losing. They call it Karma.
Lucas stepping in the end zone....ugh. So heart breaking. Game flipper chance to back SF inside their own 1, and WTF are you just carrying the damn ball with you into the end zone! Firsker not getting all the way into the end zone. Melifonwu whiffing on a sack that turns into a first down throw. Vildor's facemask. SO many breaks in the 2nd half broke in the worst way for the Lions and the exact best way for the 49ers. Sigh...
Blame Campbell if you want. I think the second fourth down was a bad decision. Take the points, but the fumble? How does that happen? The touchback? The dropped passed? The Lions didn't execute.
Big time players, make big time plays, in big time games , the Lions missed a few of those plays and 9ers made em' ... playoff experience is a learning experience .. IMO
not sure why the BA catch keeps getting described as a failed interception. People, yourself included, need to go watch the footage. You will see that the reason the ref threw the flag was because the defender ran into BA the stopped his route running which lead to him being short of where the ball was. Had the Lions defender not have hit him he would have been right there, the pass was perfect. The refs didnt bother with the penalty since he caught it anyway.
It blows my mind why "analysts" would say that Purdy was going to throw a bad interception on that deep ball off the Lions helmet. Literally the DB pushed Aiyuk with the ball in the air slowing his momentum and giving the DB momentum backwards to the spot Purdy was throwing it, hence the yellow penalty flag on the field. Worse case scenario was the Niners getting the ball at the point of contact which was close to where he caught the ball, even if it was intercepted or dropped. Why does everything else that happened on the play prior to getting hit on the helmet with the ball gets ignored?????? DO better if this is what you want to do Isaac.
The whole Lions team needs to simply focus on doing what is necessary to win and for the coaching staff to put them in the best situation to win. I am certain SF players were trash-talking as well but it is irrelevant. The focus really needs to be on playing to win and the actions needed to win.
Both Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell and offensive coordinator Ben Johnson lived by their gambles. Both Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell and offensive coordinator Ben Johnson died by their gambles.
The bottom line folks. Despite 3 key dropped passes, and allowing the 49ers to get back in the game , what cost the Lions the game was taking basic fundamentals out of football by poor coaches decision in not putting points on the board. They had two opportunities to kick field goals on 4th down. They were leading heavily with plenty of time left in the game. You always take the points. Lions should have won by 3. If they missed one of those field goals you're in overtime.
As a diehard Niner fan try watching the NFC Championship with no QB left to throw passes! The Niners paid their dues to win that game.... As now the Lions have as well for next year!
I can hardly believe how many 49er fans are trying to argue that there was PI on that Brandon Aiyuk reception. There was no penalty called on the play at all. It was amazing awareness on his part to catch the deflection but just accept that was an insanely lucky bounce off the the defender's face mask that would never happen the same way twice instead of arguing there was PI... don't be ungracious winners. It's even worse than a sore loser.
Simply....Detroit failed to execute in the second half.... Incompletes and failed interceptions.... It's rough when your team looks unbeatable for the first part but then can't stop the other guys in the second half.... Detroit played their hearts out and I salute them for their effort. You either teach....or you learn.... Detroit learned....and they'll be back next season....
“….and by interception, I mean PASS INTERFERENCE, which, had Aiyuk not made an incredible catch, would’ve put the ball on the 10 yard line anyway.” There, I fixed it.
You don't give the Niners D enough credit for the drop off in Lions production in the 2nd half. In the first half, Goff could stop for tea while waiting for his receivers to come free. 2nd half, and the pressures regressed him back to the mean. Also, their running game went from 8ypc to 4ypc. A combination of Detroit regressing to the mean and the Niners finding their mojo. Overall a great game!
