Looper well I’ve seen all but the amazing Spider-Man 1&2 are the ones I seen in theaters but I have to say toms version then maguires the Garfields

@ Looper Spider-Man 4 was also gonna have Dylan Baker as The Lizard who would be one of three main antagonists and There would be Cameos from Bruce Campbell as Mysterio, Shocker, Prowler, Rhino and Possibly Sam Raimi as Stilt-Man there was also supposed to be a Spider-Man 5 with Kraven The Hunter as the main villain and Chameleon or Scorpion as the secondary Antagonist

Actually The Real Reason They Cancelled Spiderman 4 Was Because Disney And Sony Made A Deal That Disney Would Have The Merchandise And Tv Rights And Many More Rights While Sony Would Keep The Film Rights But They Both Had To Make A Agreement To Not Continue Anything Before The Deal Started So That's Why Theres No Spiderman 4 Or Spectacular Spiderman Season 3

Yes I agree because we can still finish both of those movies since there is such thing as a spider verse in those comics. And there are two leftovers from the remix before the MCU cracked in 1 for Sam raimi the hobgoblin mask is still there the rest of the symbiotes is at Connor's is lab probably healed by now.while the other half maybe in rocks sweater unless it still crawling to him. 2 goblin and mr fierce are still creating a sinister six. Watch Spider-Man and Rhino are still fighting for an unknown fate.

I grew up with Tobey Spiderman as well but even when I was a kid, I felt like he is too old to be a high schooler. Note, I was 7 years old at the moment. For Andrew Garfield, he is way too cool and angry all the time. I feel Tom Holland is the best Spiderman. He portrays his intelligence, awkwardness and goofiness properly. Not too much and not the least. As Thanos said, perfectly balance.

In Homecoming, Peter's life and Spider-Mans collide when it's revealed he's Liz's dad. Peter's double life he's living is difficult because he's trying to be active in school, be Spider-Man and keep his identity hidden. I thought they did that really well. I grew up watching Tobey play Spider-Man and the second film has a special place in my heart but I love Tom's portrayal of the web-head, it's just so much closer to the comics. I do 100% agree with you about Tobey portrayal and how big his problems were trying to be Spidey, and the new films do it too, just not to the extreme that Tobey did

Well I guess y’all are the exemptions but I was gonna say that no matter how hard you try your always gonna like the one you grew up with like I was in 2006 so I grew up with Henry cavil as Superman and I like dean cain, Tom welling but Henry’s portrayal will always be my favorite. And I’m the same way with Andrew Garfield, you can’t change my mind and chances are I can’t change yours so it is what it is

But I will say that at least Garfields Spider-Man was motivated by uncle bens death where as Tom Holland’s barely mentions him but whatever

Well, reading this comment feels weird now, since all 3 of them were together in the current movie: Spiderman: No Way Home. I was shocked, like I never ever thought the other 2 would agree to come, but I was wrong. I was so Happy to see. Kinda feels weird, cos I still remember back in 2001/02 the first Spiderman was huge blockbuster and then my sadness at seeing new Spiderman, but then I half-heartedly accepted him.

@@cani5761 I'm a 25 year old asian woman. I grew up having watched every one of the spider man movies and the animated tv series and love spiderman. And I have found tom holland to be the best version till date. In fact, tom's 2 spiderman movies are the only one I enjoyed so much that I actually rewatched both of them, considering I never watched the rest of the movies more than once except maybe the very first toby spiderman movie. Plus look online for movie reviews for tom's spiderman. Plenty of white and black guys also said he is the best version till date.

Methinks it is fair to say all three have had different things about their performances that were Spider-Man. This just my opinion but, Tobey really had that feel of Peter being an "everyman" type of person. Not too handsome but not ugly by any means. He really exemplified the shy-quiet nerd he was supposed to be. Tom's version was also true to the comics in that he shows Peter being amazed and terrified to be in the action. The comics have Peter telling someone that he jokes and quips as a coping mechanism so that he doesn't scream in sheer panic. Andrew really show how Peter would really be like before Uncle Ben died. He had the powers and the ability to get back at his long time tormentor, Flash Thompson. Let's face it, Peter was a jerk until that happened. It also showed that Peter had to learn how to do everything, from handling admirers to the physics of his abilities. Each of these guys had something that was good. Oh and for the record, my favorite thus far Is Tom, Tobey is a really close second though. Andrew was just too good looking to be a good Peter Parker, even though later comics seem to play up Peter's looks compared to the early ones.

Andrew's spider-man was the closest to the comic book spider-man. Gwen Stacy was his first girlfriend, he MADE his own web shooters, he's intelligent, he's nerdy and awkward but not a crybaby, he jokes during fights, and no, he wasn't too cool or good looking to play spider-man, comic Peter was pretty good looking too considering the number of girls he's got.

Same. I liked Maguire as Parker, and Garfield as Spider-Man. Don't get me wrong, I love Holland and he was great but he just didn't made me feel with the vibes that Spider-Man movie gave. If I had to choose my personal favorite Spider-Man series, it would still be Raimi's version. But Garfield portrayed Spider-Man really well and the suit looks spectacular. That's just me, however.
