sometimes they have to kill them of if the actor signs on with another show or just want to leave

It’s the ones that they kill off because they don’t know what else to do with them. That’s a lack of creativity on the writers’ part. But the absolute worst decision they made as far as I’m concerned, was killing off the Al Olinsky character. The dumbest thing they did. So who are they going to kill off the next time Voight kills someone out of revenge (you know, like he did the person who killed Al) because there is no one else that has that bond with him. If the writers had an ounce of a brain, they would’ve brought Elias Koteas back, in a storyline that his character had been so deep under cover that he couldn’t even tell Voight about it.

@@marshacrooks1201 if you say "if the writers had an ounce of brain" i don't blame them because it would be hard to make it unique if i was the writer and you said that to me i would just kill of 5 more main characters all together because don't insult the writers because without them you have no show

I agree Erin Lindsey was badass ! She was a strong character and Upton is weak and a wanna be . I don’t like that she and Halstad hooked up ! That was Erin’s guy like WTF ? It made no sense. I really believe he loved Erin and to see him with Upton made me way to barf! Bad script writing!

@@annacaiazza8869 amen and then they tried writing upton with Ruzek and it is like oh hell that is Burgess man also with upton it was ok for her to do something but if Halstead did something she was quick to bitch out but atleast with Erin he could do anything he wanted especially for a case and the only she cares about was him being safe

I was so happy when Dawson left the show , they couldn't pick anyone more wrong for Casey .Their personalities was too different, Dawson was extremely spiteful especially if things didn't go her way, she was also self absorbed, only happy if she had her way . How he felt didn't matter to her as long as she was happy ! Another thing there was no communication between them , Casey told her that one day , she would ask Severide for help not him ,Anyway she's gone and good riddance , P.ease don't come back !!!!!!!🤭😠🥱🥴🙀😳
