Did they maybe mean he's not doing his job and that they must do all the commentary? That he's getting enough from his BEE deals and don't care about his job at Supersport ?
Sorry my mate, but you are busy talking just for the sake of it - IOW - Jy praat nou strooi. From whatever perspective, AW, as good a player that he was or was not, whether quota or not, clearly showed his complete lack of professionalism, maturity and ability to control his emotions. Respect lost, I'm afraid. Pity that AW can't lose the chip on his shoulder as well.
He was late and didnt watch the game he was being paid to comment on so they put him on the spot he didnt like that and played the race card. The man wasnt doing his job.
Oh so the weather girl can also bugger off to the pub rather than grabbing a chair in the studio and taking a seat. Yussus what a dof excuse to skip work.
Quotas are the problem here... can anyone really believe that in sport you can have quotas.... sport is performance based... This whole situation is self inflicted because being a quota player will always be in the back of the sportsman or womans mind, knowing they are not fit for purpose, but have to actually strive beyond their own capabilities just to fit in. Think about this.... Ashwin would have needed to exceed himself just to keep his position.... not fair on him... and not fair on the team... not fair on the country.... and not even fair on the opponent you actually playing against.... SA Rugby is no longer a threat to play against, because the team is already mentally and physically disadvantaged....
Chair was never mentioned. He needed to be at the screen to analyse the game, which viewers would appreciate. I certainly don't think it's a "back of the bakkie" position. It's an important role for the show. The race card is going to tear this country apart. Unfortunately we might get to a situation where it gets used so much that it loses credibility and becomes ineffective when a real race issue comes up. Like Peter calling wolf. Oh, but he was white..
Ai Fok tog. Gee vir hom sy eie Bakkie dat hy so gou moontlik kan fokkof. Hy behoort nie in die ateljee nie. Hy. Verstaan nie wat daar aangaan nie....🤦🏼♂️
Oh, but he was white..he would not have got the R61M BEE consulting gig to restructure a mining company in an industry he knows nothing about. Funny he does not get upset about that one.
