If I want to buy a secondary SIM, I will go for BSNL. However, I will not boycott Jio as it is my primary SIM because I have doubts about BSNL's range, connectivity, and service. I don't recommend boycotting Jio to others because of this.

Vi is bad at indoor reception while on open spaces it's good. Better in tier 1 cities. Worst in Villages. But due to the current bad phase, their services are better, both at the store and online. Prices are not at all worthy, the hike was literally unnecessary. If they introduce some longer, affordable plans and 5G launches across the nation by EOY 2024, then they will survive else, permanent goodbye.

People who are happy with 4G, should not pay for 5G. Directly increasing upto 25-30% is not at all justified even if we consider inflation, I mean do we get upto 30% hike in jobs? They are taking money for 10 pieces but I have to throw away 9 unwanted pieces.
Jio is being criticised due to in consistent network reception. Kabhi kabhi itna fast ho jata hai ki aap dekh k excite ho jaoge with happiness and sometimes whatsapp bhi normally nahi chalta... 99% sure that it is due to inconsistency. Jio needs to imrpove their coverage and quality both aa soon as possible. Otherwise people will shift to airtel despite of premium price.

Just a minor example - I have 27 of my friends from colleges, work, school, who I'm in touch with through years. Mostly, all were using two sims. One is Airtel/Vi and other one was Jio. Almost 24 of them already switched the secondary sim of Jio to BSNL, including me. Rest 3 are also planning to move from Jio. Just a minor thought,. 2nd sim need not be the best in terms of coverage but just needs to be kept, so they ported to BSNL, cost effective.

Hamare yaha vi 4g 45 mbps airtel 4g 78 mbps and jio 4g bas mushkil se 1.98 mbps deta hai. Jio ka service ghatiya hai. Jio can only provide good speed in 5G. While in other hand bsnl has no network in my area only 2 to 3 signal bars but still it manages to give 6 to 7 mbps.

Really I agree that BSNL network is very bad but suppose I use two SIM cards which is my secondary mobile number then I can port BSNL to them. Because its recharge plans are so cheap that it's good for poor people and I live in such an area and bsnl doesn't have 4G here but 3G is very good speed Here many people are using bsnl as their first sim card can i port my second sim card and i will do it.
