Teams that change their players so much generally tank. Chelsea started the season with a few first team players in the clinic and now they need to turn 1 of the hotels a Stamford bridge into a hospital. We had a team and a couple of subs in the clinic. Now chelsea is getting some players back they are looking class. Lampard said last year that the players were way under conditioned so we had nearly completely new team that wasn't fit enough and had little experience and now the 'process' is starting to show results.

The whole Enzo thing makes no sense to me cos poch has also changed his tactics. It’s not just Enzo left the team and suddenly the team got better. We’ve literally changed how we play.

Im not a Chelsea fan, but what they have done is working. All the players they bought were 22 or younger. The players have so much room to grow and gel together as a team. In reality its not crazy to say they could be a top 3 team in 2 years

We could easily be back competing for major trophies including UCL and the Prem again someday with the talented players we have in our hands. It's important to nourish them correctly to achieve that.

We've been playing with one inverted full back since the start of the season but we haven't able to because all our full backs have been injured atleast twice this season.

in the last decade: Chelsea - 2x Premier League, 1x Champions league, 1x Europa league, 1x uefa super cup, 1x fa cup, 1x carabao cup, 1x club world cup. Man United - 1x Europa league. Chelsea have had two bad season, United have had 10 bad seasons in the last decade, nowhere near challenging for the league. That's why people are tough on United.
The difference between Chelsea and Man U this season is one has steadily progressed and one has completely fallen apart. One looks like they have budding talent and a decent outlook for the future and the other is headed for the bin. One has a literal leaky roof and the other has owners willing to spend in key areas (even if it is a LOT which it is). Got over yourself KG, we've dealt with it for the last two years.

Its not that enzo being out makes the team better . Its having palmer at 10 that makes the difference. Not having connor as a 10 is what is making the differnce. Having an extra creative player in there is the catalyst
Enzo said in a recent interview he played with injections for 8 months, so pretty much the whole season.. and I would say it‘s very unfair to make conclusions about him for this campaign.. also keep in mind how he literally was the only player who really stood out last season and the only bright spot under Potter/Lampard
I also think it didn't help playing him at AM when he isn't an AM. Poch was shoe horning Gallagher and Enzo into the AM position, he finally realized recently that they're both not that kind of player.
The reason it flipped so quickly was the 5 nil against arsenal was chelsea were destroyed tactically then Poch tweaked the whole system like all the fans were screaming for and it completely fixed the early season issues, we improved everywhere on the pitch and in possession especially. Since that game we haven't been outplayed and have controlled the ball and been dangerous in attack

No it just means the teams above maintained their standards, Chelsea improved facts but the teams above them city, Arsenal, Liverpool were consistent and in comparison have a more put together squad with more quality and experienced players. Let me explain one thing when you play with injuries. Even if one plays with pain killers and injections, the movement of the body generally gets slow with injuries. You won’t get that swift and quick movements from your body. I was actually observing Enzo very closely, he was being one notch slow in reacting or tackling the stuff all season. Even his shots or passes were always one speed below the required one. It was clearly not the Enzo we saw in first game against liverpool or in pre season. Now it has become clear why was he playing so. He will come back stronger in next season.
Chelsea spent the money rebuilding their whole squad. Talking about the dollars is a moot point. Chelsea are doing something that’s unprecedented in the PL.

The difference is a lot of Chelsea’s new boys have been injured- I think like 600 million pounds worth of players have been playing less than 25% of games. Next season it’s as if we have spent 500 mill just because people should be fully fit.
People don’t understand the billion pound spend is no where near it as no one puts in the sales Chelsea have made and there is like 300 million in investments not in the team.
