I lost my wedding ring in March. We got married in Oct 🤷‍♀️it's somewhere at the house. I never put it in safe place. I will be getting a new one with an engagement ring (never got one). It's not a big deal for us. The people we love know we are married. We tease each other that people will think he's cheating on me 🤣 The positive note is getting the one you truly love 🤗

My ring disappeared for three months. I turned the house upside down. Checked under and in everything! We literally moved after it had been lost for a month and in the process of packing I was sure that if it was there I’d find it. No luck so I knew it was gone forever. Two months after moving into our new place I was walking around the house cleaning and I picked up the cloth laundry bin that I used daily to carry clean clothes around to put away-and right there on the floor was my ring. I have no explanation. It seems impossible. I even accused my husband of finding it and pranking me but he was too shocked to see I’d found it. I don’t know how it was suddenly there after everything in the home had been gone through, packed and unpacked, sorted and organized. Things can reappear. I hope that happens for you 😊

This message is specifically for Talia. I know how it feels to lose a ring. I had a butterfly ring that my mom gave me and it was real but I noticed when I was away at school I realized I lost it. I may not know what it feels like to lose an engagement ring but I lost a ring that I absolutely loved. It feels like crap losing it!! To this day, I’m still wondering what happened to it. I checked in the bathroom back when I lost it at school Liberty university but nothing. I still regret it to this day. Girlll I know how you feel 100%.

*as someone whos parents own a jewelry store & ive worked in thay business a while.. moving forward obviously get the insurance but also get the prongs checked every so often 💍💎or at least once or twice a year to somewhere you fully trust so they dont switch it with something else. (you would be surprised..) if you hit your ring on something it wouldnt hurt to get it checked then as well. the prongs can thin and wear down with time.* lovee youuu guys. im sorry you lost it! 😢 but EXCITED for that new one sis 😜

I went through the same thing during a Christmas dinner but my friend was who first noticed the diamond in the center was missing I looked down and gassed got so sick to my stomach and had everybody at my dinner table looking on the floor and do the restaurant the waitress even tried looking after some time we gave up and realized it was just a loss. I encourage my husband not to rush to replace my diamond and that I would wear another ring until we have the finances to do so. So although I know we were sitting up for it 2 years later on our wedding anniversary he surprised me with my wedding ring diamond I lost was replaced with a bigger diamond. I cried with excitement

Yeah I’ve lost one of my smaller diamonds. I take it to get inspected every 6 months and they cover any missing diamonds! But we also have it insured under our home insurance! How long have you had it? You should take it to where you bought it and and see if they have any warranty within your period of time of having it.

I once lost my engagement ring in the snow! It was not insured. My husband was mad. The next day he went out to look again and found it! I don’t know how!!! He gave it to me and told me not to wear it anymore. Haha How it happened: we were shoveling snow and I took my gloves off when we were done and in the winter sometimes rings are loose and it fell off. I didn’t realize until we were in the car on the way to a store. We turned around and went home, parked in our spot, and looked with flashlights (it was nighttime)! A miracle: He ended up finding it in the snow by the tire of the car! There was no damage to it. I have no idea how! Lol

You could have the diamond replaced. I don't wear mine everyday I only wear it when we go out. I'm afraid it'll get cracked or fall out of the setting. I wear my band everyday though. I have a pair of everyday earings too. Only changing them when I go out. I think it's a great idea.

You lost me on "It was a cut diamond (extremely precious!), it popped out for some reason and I got really frustrated, but I guess it's all okay because I'm just so excited for the next rock that WILL pop back into my finger to complete my "golden style" that we can move on and go to the store right away..." I know there are people who think like this, but I just can't. Not that I'm not okay with it. Obviously it's their money, they do whatever they want with it. It just makes me anxious to even imagine me thinking like that, bcs today might be a ring (which is pretty useless, btw) and tomorrow can be something even more expensive. Anyways in your place I would probably be a lot more afraid to buy another rock for that ring format, since that one obviously didnt manage to hold it well enough. GL! :)

Wait! Where did you buy the ring?? It should have insurance from the jewelry place! Mine did and I was getting married in Jamaica! Week before 3 diamonds fell out they fixed it free got to Jamaica looked down 4 gone! I was so mad! Got back went to shop had words so went to the same shop different town and traded for different style paid 10K😳 ugh (regret now divorced) but even now I have it for sale and when it sells I can transfer the warranty to new buyer so check with shop first! They should have warranty on it! Good luck!

The same exact thing happened to me! I went to go show someone my ring and they said "what happened to the diamond"? I looked down and my heart just stopped! I had the ring on, but the stone was just GONE! Thankfully, when we went into Kay Jewelers and talked to them, they contacted their corporate office, who had us WRITE A LETTER explaining what happened, and we had to just wait and see! Thankfully a few weeks later they contacted us and told us they were going to replace the stone AT NO COST! We didn't have insurance either, so we got very lucky! It was a very nerve wracking time to say the least! (Of course that was a entire lifetime and another husband ago, but hey lol) I never did find that diamond either damn it 🤣🤣🤣💍💍💍

Well one day when my cousin came to visit us and a pop shower popped up when we was leaving the beach. And lightning struck 3 ft in front of me. The lightning was so close our golf cart shook. I remember when went to toys r us to buy a gate I hit my finger not thinking anything, when I was on my way home I looked at the ring cause I always liked checking out my diamond and it was gone, but I went back home i called my mom and she told me to retrace everywhere I was. Years ago I worked in a pet store and I went to lunch with my husband and he casually asked me where the diamond was. I looked down thinking he was joking and felt that same panic. You should check out moissanite rings on Etsy! I got my engagement ring and wedding band and everyone thinks it’s a diamond but It was thousands of dollars cheaper! And if you still want a diamond this could just be your in between ring so you can try out a new style and still wear a really nice ring!

That happened to me. We found the diamond on the floorboard of our car. I had be vacuuming and detailing the car, I did not realize that my setting was loose and must have hit it just right. Can you imagine if the vacuum had sucked it up? Fingers crossed for you to find it!
