Also why does Blizzard take a percentage if plat when making a sell in the market? They are not doing anything with it. Why am I being taxed by a damn game?

All ppl want is character progression & customization. Lesser time to grind, more balance pvp & social interaction. Its Mobile MMOARPG ffs…. Dont treat us as pc gaming that can play >5 hours per day…

Market is an issue. It's a deprsssion era market. Most who played it can't make much plat, so even tho prices are low, few have the plat to buy gems. BUT for me, the real issue is the LAG. LAG LAG LAG LAG When are they going to fix the lag?

I think the current problem is that the game isnt rewarding to play atm; they didnt quite get the adjustments right when they adjusted paragon levels too. especially for new/returning players. Runes were released and arent dropping at a reasonable rate. Elder rift drop rate appears to have been silently nerfed, so no rewards there. PvP for new players is not fun. Everyone is transitioning to i2 and new players cant hit the CR for i1 because of helliquarry/warband CR missing. I capped a new character at server paragon. And with my 250-300 reso, the game seems impossible. For seasoned DI players we know why. But for someone picking this up and giving it a try thats a tough barrier. They needed to do more then provide that 2* stormvault at anniversary. Should have been at level 5~ so new players could experience 1k reso and have those wings! Its an old game at this point~ they needed to do more and they duffed it.

As an endgame player for the last 2 years what I mean end game I am talkling about being involved in shadow vs immortal.. and I strongly believe the shadow immortal conflict needs a massive revamp. Generally what happens on most competitive realms is that now there are several key alliances who control the realm. And when you have 3-6 key alliances controlling the endgame experience for every one. You are limiting the fun for the whole realm. There are new players signing up every day. Leveling is fast. Powering up is fast. Then once that player is at endgame and they form a clan or join one..if they can't get into one of the top clans.. They don't get to experience much of end game at all. Some folks yes prefer to play alone or don't care. But if they revamped the engame system to allow more clans to get power without it being controlled by the same alliances. I think that would dramatically help the experience for everyone. This is why I decided for myself after this immortal reign ends. I am going to retire from my immortal clan and I decided to go back to World of Warcraft because I know I don't need to spend insane money to be competitive.

You’re totally offbase on your reasons people aren’t enjoying the game. #1 reason is the game is obnoxious on the time required to play. The grind is real and the playerbase is feeling it, we had 5 high profile players leave our clan this week alone because they are sick of a game that keeps inventing chores. Shadow dailies, shadow wars, terror rifts, lairs, daily heliquary, and the list goes on and on. They need to compress how much we need to do daily/weekly to cap or they will burn out the playerbase.

Idk who those ppl are that arent enjoying the game but definitely not me I enjoy the game more than ever even as a player that only buys battlepass. Theres so much stuff to do in the game thats what makes it fun for me and i play for fun.

My main issues atm are: 1. the "market". Can't sell anything useful, only thing that moves are basic(grey-blue) familiars for around 500-570 platinum each, better familiars are price locked at"too high" prices. Gems for secondary gear don't sell either(apart from blue armor pen or light blue armor gems) and trying to make a profit flipping skill stones is not profitable. "Ok" skill stones with 2 useful skills don't even sell at 650 platinum. Selling higher rank legendary gems is not an issue for me, because I don't have any I can sell at the market, fixes that problem for me, yay! 2. Gem drops in Elder Rifts seem to have been nerfed, running rare or bound legendary crest yield nothing good, which makes upgrading legendary gems harder for me long-term, which is making me want to play less. 3: Warband missions or content is almost impossible for me to partake in, warband is not active. Wish warband content could be merged into clan content somehow, I hate how everything is separated behind clicks and loading screens. 4. Shadows content is not very fun, I'm often not on when 'activities" are ongoing or i'm having dinner(I refuse stop eating!)

This is not JUST about balance..its HUGE problem that money can increase your competitive edge. Many games like LoL, Desiny 2, etc. disable gear asvantage in the STANDARD pvp mode and aesthetics are where the $$ is made. In LoL there's 0 competitive advantage and AMAZING visuals. They also have a greater balance in skins that are always able to be bought and once-in-a-while purchase. If you make all these skins only purchaseable at certain times you lose the ability to monetize them. Why would you gate keep your own income that way? Then try to make it back by allowing people to dual wield credit cards for competitive edge? Even Destiny 2 has a game mode where once in a bit players can queue up for Iron Banner and gear advantage matters. But then disabling the advantage and playing at a disadvantage grants higher rewards. There's no reason...none to blame the game-o-sphere for the lull ...its lazy game making, poor creative planning, and monetizing competitive edge over all else. When people ask "what's the best" ot creates a meta. Metas are meant to be broken. Back in the day i used to play Yu-Gi-Oh. People would always play the same deck build. So i built a deck that beats that deck and won. They all play the same deck. Meta was boring. I just swooped in with counter build and done. Gamers are creative and we will create our own meta as people continue to ask "what's the best"? The problem is... THE BEST can only be BOUGHT in this game. Build DOESNT MATTER. And the more irrelevant it is because combat score wins... At level 60, 100 paragon you can have 6k combat score with 1k dmg. At 250ish 11 to 15k with 6k dmg, at 340ish...33k... With 11k dmg score...but then at 37k the dmg score TRIPLES over 33k. And the method to get there js resonance and gems and runes and stuff you have to purchase to even do in a reasonable timeframe. "Want it?" YES GIMME!! (swipe swipe) Thats not game build diversity in the making. It's a linear path to your wallet. They're not developing a game. They're developing a digital vending machine. That's why it's stale and they dont know how to make money unless whales are buying stuff. Ive spent nearly $400 or more on League over the years. Ive barely spent ANY on diablo outside the battle pass. The game and the skill expression and the build diversity make a game challenging and fun. Not the depth of your pockets.

I am a low spender only buy 5 dollar batlle pass and dont even buy it every month. I enjoy the pve elements of the game and never touch battle ground. I know i ca t compete there. I do feel they could ease up now on some of the p2w aspects of the game. Just my opinion

Majority of Players want is improved character progression and balance pvp matching in BG. With this new Market system update, it kills low spenders and f2p players who are farming with alts to speed up their main char progression. At current situation, farming of Plats is dead.

I started Alt farming 8 months before market "improvements" my best month i made almost 2 million, i was avg about 300k-800k the month before patch. Im lucky to farm 80k a month now. Ive made under 200k since after patch. My main goal was to hit 3k resonance for bigger wing cosmetic, and to be able to carry a full raid, and help more new players/ clan mates. The "market improvement" is purely to milk more cash from players.

It doesn't help when there are players who are obviously using third party sellers to gain reso. A few players on my merged server have doubled their reso from 4-5k to 8-9k in a matter of 3-4 weeks. You can't compete with that so what's the point? Whats the point in spending money in game now when you know you can't compete with those using third party sellers. So if you can't compete you play for the community, which has been tipped on its head by the merges, do we drop low cr players who can't get past PoB floor 40 and risk our community further so we can compete in the top 10? It's just not as fun as it used to be, it all feels like slow failure. Pressure and tough decisions. I get enough of that irl.

Spending a fortune jus to be the 'best' in a video game.. and a mobile one at that. Sounds pretty counter-productive. Sure drop some cash here n there, but spending to be the Invincible Indestructible 10k+ reso best foreverrr Immortal Champion OF THE WORRRRRRRLD!!! Thats nonsense. 😂😂

My in game name is BigBeanzEnergy. I’m 8300 reso. The whales are sick of the game lag, PvP broken again (barb) only good class now, market lol, daily grind too much, and finally all around negativity (botting/cheating) Probably in that order. Then again Susan and bots are and have been out of control with no end in sight. Kind of pathetic blizz doesn’t ban bots. I think all of us had enough with Susan. Always hearing the devs listen to us. From a whale’s perspective, they don’t.

Hype is over and the game is predatory as fuck with its transactions. It was fun for quite awhile but sadly there just isn’t enough to it that isn’t paying to win

Im currently a new player. Just played it a few days ago and im having a blast for now. Strictly F2P btw. Since I've played diablo 2 and 3 (haven't played d4 unfortunately), i was hoping a more customizable character like the prior games and idk about the story yet but im surprise seeing d2 characters.

why Blizzard not making balance in PvP matches whale vs whale in match lowspender or free player vs freeplayer or lowspender that's will make more fun it'll make more balance in game the market is still high for lowspender

I agree but something id like to add is "certain content creators", that influence younger players, somehow are getting "gifts and donations" in the form of 100s of crests, free $180 cosmetics,ect, and now seem to say 80% of packs are a 'great deal' and has nothing recently negative to say about the game. Its curious how a "I only buy a $5 battle pass" can do multiple 100 crest runs and has thousands of $ worth of cosmos. Call a detective guys, this just seems weird no? Lol

Love the market right now, grinding on 5 chars and can buy 5-star gems weekly. For me the bottleneck will come prolly after I need to get my 5-stars above rank 4. This will be too much of a grind for too little gains.. so gonna play til Inferno II unlocks and see how things go.

Okay sorry I didnt comment sooner bud. 1. The content you create helps some of us be competitive even if we dont stand a chance against all we are still able to compete against some. 2. Helping people to better their play and characters is awesome. 3. Best, greatest, and titles of this are usually regarding the exact build/ spec you are referencing. If people misinterpret this and think that as soon as they have these gems, skills, and essences they will be the best they did not watch your entire video. As you have stated multiple times results vary depending upon what I have listed previously. 4. Don't stop. You are doing the right thing and as a tried and true viewer, I have had better results in both PVP and PVE thanks to you and your circle of friends testing and retesting specs. 5. Pvp would be better if there was a balance according to cr maybe? Not sure what has been tried to offer up educated advice. 6. Thank you. My biggest issue in the game is battlegrounds. The balance is still not there. I did a bg this morning and was fighting 4 saders and 2 barbs. This shouldn't even be possible. The other thing is the necro wraith form. It says 2 seconds of invulnerability, and It isn't.

I feel and I could be way off, but I think bounties should be handled like solo story dungeons, you should have the bounty enemies spawn for you and not others and they can have their own that you can’t see or kill.

The market is just one defective issue in the game. The amount of dailies weeklies. Events etc. Is just to much. Blizzard just churns out update after update. Which are full of bugs. Lets be honest very poor quality.when an update comes. I always think what new bugs are we getting today. I would rather see less content. But good QUALITY content. I love the game. But it is just a bug ridden cluster f***. I don't care about being the best. I just want to log on kill a few monsters then log off.

I 1st started playing this game on my iPad air 2 and was very competitive for my bracket in BG's. With all the updates Bgs became unplayable due to lags and resulting crashes. Warband raids take longer than they should due to crashes as well. So switched to playing on laptop for a time and enjoyed more of a seamless experience. Now back playing on my Air 2 and can't play Bgs at all( tower war is a better gaming experience) and end up just soloing my raids upon reset. Basically instances with a high degree of contact with other players are laggy and prone to crashes on older devices on mobile. Love your videos as always mate. P. I like the way you described the issues. It's a mix of real technical problems and people's expectations. Gaming today is different than when I grew up. I kicked it on Ocarina as well and just had fun playing. No real end goal other than beating the game and having fun. Monetization was inevitable in games, but it's become some kind of monster that consumes peoples time and mental health. We all have different ways of having fun, but a dose of reality sets me straight when I get obsessive over this game. I don't take PVP seriously anymore and my mental state on the game has vastly improved. Great video 👍

The reason the markets were so high before is from the people who were siting on the unbound gems. Had they been selling them as they got them the markets would much more stable. But they just kept them to make max plat and now some wanna complain that they have to sell them low. Oh well too bad. They sold so many at max for the last 2 years they ruined the market. I feel like after x time anything that is unbound should become bound. Sell it or use it, not sit on it!

I’m not sure if people is not expending money, whales are mostly capped, and with low prices mid expenders are motivated to buy and get the next level. Now probably sells are going by volume. I hope this makes any sense

We need mounts with gems in them. We need arenas. We need a front bar skill (attack) and when you switch stances then it’s new skills like shields

For those who hoard their gems for a better price, i suggest they use it to upgrade their own gems, I don't think low price legendary gems will go away sooner. Either you see it as positive or negative, the outcome form this is more low spender comes out to be more competitive and can now be able to compete to the long time whales. Let say a 3k reso, with the current market, will find it easy to upgrade to 4k or 5k. which can now fight a 7k or 8k (with skills)

Buy low and sell high, this market works like any other “monetary” market. Being a low spender I couldn’t afford any 5 star gem when the market was a sellers market and struggle to purchase one now. One would think that if you have discretionary funds to be a “whale” you could buy up all of these gems to upgrade anything you want. Maybe I just don’t understand the issue. The market will swing the other way again, just like any other market.

The market is the last thing on my mind to be honest. These bless reign for a useless red cape having whale clans not even fighting and just swaping immortal reign is the issue. People are spending 100k+ on a game to have a fourt or fifth allies for free roe win, no tower battle cuz they all cry when anyone attack each other and watch 20 players just sit there during challenge of the immortal.

That's how competition works😂 you wanna be the best spend the most. Being no 1 in any game is pure vanity. In a pay to win its spending in a free to play its time spent. Some will do more than others that's how vast the world is. Why would you complain on the means to get to the top? Its like asking for a top spot but not willing to do what it takes. Nobody is forcing anyone to be the best at anything. Its about willingness, if one goes beyond that there is no other to blame than oneself.😅

When I started, I was turned off by how expensive legendary gems were. I would have spent more and earlier if the lgd gems were cheaper. I think the current prices make it easier on new players. Right now, with the cheap price, I buy the legendary gem I want, and use crests to power them up. This is far better use of my time and money than hoping to get the gem I want via crests. On my server, the price of normal gems have dropped, but not as much as legendary gems. So the market is better for players who sell normal gems to get a legendary gem, because they grind less. Overall, I feel most people benefit from the market as it currently stands. The ones who don't are the ones who hoarded gems with more intentions of selling than using.

I used to like your videos, but this one is totally crap. Do you really think that people are upset because of the market prices? That's not even true. What about the insane lag that every server experience in Terror Rifts? Or in Dungeons, or basically everywhere? I have moved since I start playing this game on 3 different servers (because of my clan decided the moving) and the prices are not even close to what you have shown in this video. The BSJ (2 stars) is selling with at least 64K on most servers.

That's why I don't like the meta builds content - it stops you from exploring other essences and skills (and gems) that could make a fun build that suits your own playstyle. Same with other games. Ocarina of Time is soo good. 🏹🪃
