Rasheed Wallace says he isn't in NBA 2k24 for the simple fact that he won't give up his Name, Image and Likeness for only $10k. Sheed says that many veteran players feel the same and he doesn't care enough about being in a video game unless the league will "Cut That Check".

@brickz001 C Webb is in, then out, then in, then out... it's weird. Webber wasn't in 2k23, but now he's back in 2k24. He was in 2k22 if I remember correctly. Don't remember if he was in 2k21. I buy the new game every year so I forget now lol. Buy yeah either way, 2k needs to shell out to appease the TRUE FANS. They're making money hand over fist with that microtransaction bs, the true fans deserve the true simulation we're looking for. Been buying this game basically every year since 2k2 and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

@brickz001 yeah I know. On 2k23 I never used the 2002 Kings because he wasn't on there. I used that team in 2k22 because he was on it, and now I use that team again in 2k24 lol. I don't know why they're weird about it with C Webb though? And now that I think of it, Brandon Roy is the same way. He's in one year, out the next, back in again. Don't get it.

Yes i like to buy old games from this cool video game store by my house and play them and then you can return them and get different games. They give you way WAY BETTER DEALS then GameStop. The place is called DISK REPLAY, its almost like blockbuster and they have all the old systems and games and movies! LEGO set-ups and all kinds of cool stuff. But anyway damn, there goes my season! Kids this is reality vs entertainment. All that cool ish Ronnie2K seems to be well not all players are equal. I really wish they go to a point system with these former players. I would pay an extra $50 to have all the former players on their historic teams. What ever sales they get from it they can break it down to pay the retired players. 2k needs to make a 90's edition of the game. With nothing but 90's rosters, logos, jerseys, etc. That game would sell more than any of this current trash and the proceeds should go to the legends. This company makes enough money off of these newer generations of kids that it wouldn't even hurt their bottom line not one bit. Make it happen 2k. For us older heads who miss real man basketball.

So, you'll have the "current" generations who play the games now buying it plus the old school generations who don't give two sh!ts about the modern NBA also buying it. Like me. The NBA today is WACK. Launching 5,000 non contested threes in a game because defense nobody plays anymore is weak, soft sh!t. Sports used to be a man's game and a 90's NBA game with today's graphics just may prompt some of these legends to allow 2K to use their likeness.

I'm thinking a game dedicated to 90's era ball would prompt some of these legend holdouts to finally let 2K use their likeness. Like Rasheed Wallace, Reggie Miller, Charles Barkley, etc. Plus you wouldn't have to customize anything because it would already be in the game. Like the Washington Bullets. I personally believe it would open an entire new market for 2K. It would attract those of us like myself where I quit watching basketball in 2004. Right before the league started to transition into soft like tissue play. I still play NBA Live 98 on PS1. I refuse to watch this modern, no defense, 5,000 threes a game trash. These current young generations would buy it because they love making money off of times that they weren't even a sperm yet. It's just a wish for me. I know it's never going to happen.
