He’s actually doing what’s best for the team he hasn’t even practiced with the team for a full week He has to get acclimated to the physicality and also Cal isn’t trying to throw the team’s chemistry off You have to work him in I say within maybe the next week or two will see him on the court Never know we’re shorted handed today vs KU smh Just might see him hit the floor today But rushing him on the court definitely isn’t the answer Cal knows exactly what he’s doing trust
@Brandon I hope you know him developing guys for the NBA draft is why he's able to get all these great recruits and transfers every year! If Shaedon drops in the draft due to poor play or a lack of minutes, that could hurt Coach Cal's reputation among future recruiting and transferring classes which of course would hurt Kentucky's future.
Brandon Boston got drafted in the 2nd round because of his numbers. Look at his shooting statistics while at UK. And there were many UK fans that hoped and wanted him back for a 2nd year at UK
Sharp will probably never play at Kentucky. But if he joined our current team , he would be a major factor. He has more talent than anyone on the team. Has three point range and very explosive. As a point guard working with Washington and Grady, Kentucky would have the most dynamic back court in the country.
Myself as a lifelong Kentucky fan of 50 plus years I could give a crap less if this kid plays or 🚫 I'm so sick and tired of Calipari going after these elite so-called athletes that in my opinion most are LAZY and almost always are playing for THEMSELVES not for Kentucky and or it's fans I say Give me GOOD TALENT kid's that know the history of KY BB that's there to accomplish something GREAT for our STATE TEAM and the FANS GO CAT'S
My money is on that he won't play a game in college and he'll declare for this year's draft. That would be the smartest move. He's already projected to be a lottery pick. No need to continue his college career as he could pull a Boston Jr. and slide to the 2nd round. Just have him do the combine and he'll impress.
Why would he want to go in the second round. When next year he could probably be the number one pick in the draft. Why would he take a chance on dropping that low when he could play one season and definitely is gonna go as a lottery pick.

When next yes he literally could be a lottery pick or maybe even the number one over all. You know we've had a few of those over cals tenure. So why go to the draft snd not show what he has. Can't do that as much at the combine as you can actually playing. These gm for NBA teams want to see kids okay against other elite competition. Sure someone would take a chance on him but does he want to take that chance of dropping out of the top 10 when he is just about a lock for next year.
I like Cal. But the fans are correct. Why is he here if he not going to play. How you expect the fans to get behind a guy that won't contribute to the team they care about.
No true blooded fan is more worried about Sharpe playing then focusing on the team. As a matter of fact true fans understand exactly why he hasn’t played yet and accept the fact he may not and don’t talk about it much at all. Kentucky is a basketball state not a Shaden Sharpe state. We love all it players but focus isn’t on just one player. We have our sights set on a championship not wondering if the kid will play. I know there’s videos everywhere but those are RU-vid channels trying to make money, pls don’t lump them in with the real fan base. Of course he’s been discussed on KSR and other loyal wildcat outlets I’m not saying he hadn’t been talked about. But he is not the focus of the team or the fans
No but if we played him we’d be much and j mean ALOT better team than what we are rn, and I’m not saying we’re bad cause we’re not we’re 5th in the nation rn that’s good asf but we would’ve been 5th way earlier in the year if we played him IMO
Not a UK fan however it’s absurd that they have a scholarship spot for a player that is never gonna touch the floor for them, Cal is a legendary coach but doesn’t have what it takes to win at the same level as Coach K and Bill Self

Some of y'all are goofy, he's 17, he will almost undoubtedly effect the chemistry the team has built for 9 months, and he isn't ready to play against that level. Y'all do realize he'll have to bulk up and practice a lot against the pros before he is ready to play big time in the NBA right? Regardless of if he goes or not, playing him doesn't guarantee he'll do well. I think cal knows more about what he's doing than you all do, considering he has been to nearly 10 final fours and has over 800 wins in his hall of Fame career that isn't even over yet.
I guess now I can admit it. This season was a flop. Only 2 guys in the first round no one in the top 5. Biggest day of the year for the program and Cal lays another egg.
As a true blue Kentucky fan, blows me away sometimes how selfish BBN is. So you want put a kid in when he's not ready just cause someone in this ass be years team got hurt.. ... Shadeon is not eligible for draft this year, it all has to do when he graduated high school and when his credits where approved by whatever state you came from. That's why call kept saying he will be here sometime after new year, never did give exact date when shaedin would join team in January. So please stop the madness he is not eligible for NBA draft till 2023, that's why no tv guys ever talk bout it.maybe a month ago.
