I love his ballads as they showcase his beautiful voice so well and he sang them from the heart. Well, actually Toby sang everything from the heart! I love his patriotic songs as well! He was a talented, patriotic man who loved his family and served his fellow man with his tours to perform for the military over 200 times and his Toby Keith Foundation and the OK Kids Corral that serves kids with cancer and their families. He also never hid his faith in God from the beginning of his career to the end of his life. Thank you, Toby for your example and all the memories. RIP and God bless your family.
I love every song he has written he is the greatest country music performer there ever was. CMT should be ashamed for not giving him awards. No one will ever compare to Toby Keith. RIP Toby you left a big whole in our heart
He certainly supported our Men and Women in uniform. He was one of the best. I wish that the Military would pay him a special tribute of some kind for his Service.

Never apologize for being patriotic. Toby stood strong when he was criticized for his politics when a deep dive would reveal he was an American first. Never apologize for being true to yourself, keep your mind open and never apologize for being patriotic.

He diffently should be in the Country Music Hall of Fame. He was an amazing man both personally and professionally. Seems as if he was snubbed by many of the award shows and in my opinion that is because he didn’t fit their narrative.

Toby had the pulse of America from what people were tuned into around the bars and the Honky Tonk scenes. He had a keen sense of writing songs that spoke about how we all felt . Well deserved honor and wish it had come sooner.

Toby Keith was one of the greatest country singers ever. I saw him four times in Cincinnati Ohio. He loved his military men and women, loved his country, loved his beer songs, and the red white and blue! Congratulations Toby. You deserve to be in the country music Hall of Fame. Rest in peace. I agree, I think it’s a shame that Toby didn’t get to know this before he died. I’m sure he knew how much his many fans loved him, but still, it would have been so nice if they could have decided to give him this honor before he left us. What a great guy. He’ll never be forgotten.

It helps a little to know they were working on it, and at least they didn't have to wait another whole year. She said something like they can't go into the Hail of Fame the same year that they pass, but this was in the works the previous year. Still, imagine if he had been able to know just before he died. I don't hear his music much on radio anymore, so I've been coming to RU-vid to watch some of his classic videos. Beer For My Horses with Willie, Who's Your Daddy, As Good As I Once Was, Should've Been a Cowboy, I love them all. I especially like How Do You Like Me Now, so hilarious how he gets back at the girl who thought she was too good for him. You really showed her, Toby! We miss you 😢
Love this man and his music! As a survivor of the 911 Attacks on Manhattan, his songs speak volumns to me! I definitely shed yesrs, and I imagine The Statue would have, too, were that possible.

lm my opinion he sould have been inducted a long time ago! He's the greatest country icon ,star, singer and writer. lt's so sad, because it was well over due. He had to pass away before it was done. l'm very disappointed. Again, Sir Toby Keith is the greatest Country icon worldwide, and that's much more important than being in a "hall"!

The Country Music Hall of Fame has missed the mark and their credibility. A little too late AGAIN...His last performance he mentioned "It seems someone has to die to get one of those awards" and the rest is history.
