just wait for the next series you like him in. when I first saw Bryan Cranston in Breaking Bad, it felt weird because I knew him so well from Malcom in the Middle. Now I hardly remember how he used to be in Malcolm, I only see Walter White, with the occasional flashback to Hal. The good thing about great actors is, when they show you their new role, you'll instantly love them in it, no matter how absurd that thought might have been before.
I really want him to play a DC villain, Mostly Reverse Flash for Ezra Miller's Flash movie. Either way. I hope to see him soon on a big screen or tv show, Loved Dexter.
I'm obsessed with Dexter. It will always be my favorite. I'm currently rewatching the series once again. Can't even say how many times I've seen the whole series now.
I accidentally saw him in Lazarus whilst in London. Didn't realize it was Michael C Hall until after (I've never watched Dexter), but wow was he AMAZING. Stunning production, stunning work by Michael, as well as the rest of the cast.
This guy's definitely one of my favorite actors. When he was going to play a serial killer, I was like, "Nooo. He's [my] David from Six Feet Under." I ended up watching and loving him as Dexter off course. I didn't know he was playing Kennedy so guess I'll be watching that now. :)
Let me guess... Personal side projects Family matters Enjoying time out of the spotlight And... ACTUALLY, he's still been involved in many small projects, you just might not know about them.
I definitely miss Dexter and the 'Dark Passenger'. I would really like to see a revisit - a season 9 to either take off again or to give it a much better resolution. There was so much excellent story and plot to Dexter. One of my all time favorites.
Greg Dobson I was a huge Dexter fan, and I didn't mind the ending. It has been a while since I watched it though, and I've gotten more analytical of things since then. For how good the show was I do wish they wrapped it up with a more definitive ending that better encapsulated the tone and meaning of it. Back then I was just so sad it was over that I was just hoping they left it open-ended for the reason of possibly bringing it back some time in the future.
I have wondered where he is! Glad to see him looking so healthy and I'm very happy to see him doing what he enjoys, but I hope he will one day do aTV series again. I know it would have to be something special, but his fans who can't go to the theater really miss him!
Season 1 - 4 are among the best that TV has ever put forward. Sadly it goes downhill after Season 4 because the best writers of the show left/were fired. But still, i can really recommend it, the first half of it is really good.
I love Michael C. Hall in anything 😎👍. He's even a candidate to play the joker. As long as its written and directed with intelligence. And its not some Jerid Leto remake. I swear Heath Ledger is still rolling in his grave over that one.
Bravo Alley he's very menacing, his voice his facial expression, and a single sentence would sound like it was planned weeks on end. He would be so good as reverse flash.
I'm so glad he's so busy and still well. That's all good news. Anyone who thinks he should keep playing Dexter really need to think about broadening their horizons. There's so much more to life, not to mention MCH's work.
Speaking on Dexter...a good follow-up would be called "Miami Metro", where all the surviving cast members from the hurricane come back and follow up on reports that both LaGuerta and Deb have been found dead ,with no sign of Dexter anywhere...which leads to the FBI issuing a national BOLO for him. To tackle some stress after the massive clean-up efforts, we find Batista taking some much needed leave on an unknown tropical island where he sees someone who looks like Dexter but he writes it off as just a dream, but the visions are clearer to him as it is in fact him. Dexter, after seeing what he appears as a likeness of Batista, goes into hiding on the island, but the authorities are reluctant to do a search because to them he hasn't broken any island law...and the search is just now starting...will Dexter be found to face multiple criminal charges back in Miami, or will he start island hopping and get away yet again? Just a though for the follow-up after the series...I too was highly disappointed about how it ended. Let me know what you think!
universeeqlight y....in what world do you live in!? Michael C. Hall exceeds these has been's in leaps and bounds! Not even in the same universe. Shallow you are...hmmmm!?
Wow. Mr. Hall certainly has had and continues to have a full schedule. An eclectic one as well. So I'm guessing that the reason Mr. Hall is on this " The reason we haven't heard from..." playlist is not one of him becoming a wash out or of drugs or acquiring irrelevance , but the explanation of why he hasn't called you in such long time. He sure is living the actors dream and doing well by it. Thanks Looper
All good things must eventually come to a end and with the end of Dexter Mr. hall has embarked on many many great projects and challenging film roles to develop his craft and show how versatile he is as a actor and that's eccential because no actor wants to be typecast and knows that it can be a curse more than a blessing, good to know he is doing well God bless peace.
Since 2013 he's been in or lent his voice to 5 movies.... 2 more coming out this year, one being him narrating a documentary about the Gettysburg Address. Also, later this year his is set to star in yet another crime-drama show, Safe, that will air on Netflix. In addition to his work he's been doing non-stop since Dexter from 2014-2017 in the said plays in the video. In other words..... I'd say he's been keeping pretty damn busy. So 12+ years starring in hit shows Six Feet Under and Dexter back-to-back, 4 straight years in theater, 5 movies, and some bit parts in TV shows in those same 4 years, in addition to starring in yet another show later this year...... That's better than most actor's entire careers. And he's still only 47 years old. He's had about 18 years of non-stop success if you ask me, mainly in television.
Toffee is a darker character than you'd expect from a Disney comedy, despite the absurd name and funny appearance. They knew exactly what they were doing casting Michael C. Hall for that role.
The character Dexter has gotten into his head. I'm not surprised because he fucking embodied that role. I've never seen a character portrayed so perfectly.
YES!!! I'M SO GLAD TO HEAR HE'LL BE IN THE SECOND SEASON OF THE CROWN!!! LOVE THAT SHOWWW!!!!!!!! AND I LOVE MICHAEL C HALL! SUCH AN AMAZING ACTOR!!!!!!!
He will ALWAYS be Dexter to me. I finish watching the show last night and I cried like a baby for different reasons. And a fun fact is that I remember watching the show of 6 feet under but I couldn't remember who was the min actor, to my surprise it as also Michael haha, a very happy coincidence to me. ❤🗡
I'm so sad, to see the ending of Dexter (New Blood), but it's an inevitable closure to a serial killer, no matter how noble the cause might be. Dexter's Dark Defender is far better than the Batman's Dark Knight. He never sought the limelight, he just quietly did his good deeds, ridding the society of scumbags who got away. He'll always be my hero.
As this video was recorded ,Michael started to film Netflix series - Safe ,- in England, that premiered in 190 countries on 10 May 2018,-saw it - LOVED IT,love Michael
Hall should really get into more acclaimed movies. Sorry for wording but what I mean he should be in bigger movies because he's obviously a great actor and can do alo. I'm almost done with dexter and I don't want see him go.
