amazon, nvidia was once loss making companies too. every company starts making loss. what is important is the growth at which they diminish their losses over years. this speculation is wat creates value

Whole EV space is full of flying turds incl miracle battery electrolyte, tesla supplier, bloom wannabes and new fangled solar/wind companies. There is zero reason to chase such things

​@@PHOENIXGAMING4HDAmazon still is loss making venture they don't earn profits from Amazon delivery services or prime ,their only profits are from their awes servers which doesn't mitigate the losses they incurr from just maintaining their warehouses which are their worst performers and nvidia got the mover advantage since graphics cards technologies are mostly patented ones so rival companies would have to create new modes which does not violate the patent regulations (the reason why AMD is still struggling to compete with nvidia in terms of graphics card performances even though they are cheaper since NVIDIA got the first mover advantage here in terms of patented technology)but EV even if patented is still volatile in terms of energy efficiency and cost effectiveness(obviously I won't buy a prototype EV for which battery issues are hugely rampant plus the modes of recharging are also not widely available and not even economical maybe after 30-45 years we can have efficient recharge modules and batteries but for that u have to heavily invest in R&D for minimum 10-15 years just for the breakthrough and commercial applications will take another decade or so we should remember crude oil distillation and petrol and diesel engines also took more than 30-40 years to get to its perfect stage which we are using today not like OLA or aether which just finishes everything in 5 years and claims to be perfect no even with AI there are hardware complications to perfect which takes time so this IPO is just a exit route

​@@PHOENIXGAMING4HDand only way EV companies will take centre stage when there will be a cleaner mode of fuel let's assume u are only emitting 1% carbon footprint with EV but to produce that electricity u have to burn more coal on top of the already overburdened coal demand since primary source of electricity in any country is coal based energy since it can only meet the energy output so to reduce carbon footprint from one source we are increasing carbon footprint from another source and mind u thermal power stations using coal emit 10 times more carbon footprint than petrol or diesel vehicles even if they maintain safety regulations so imagine the pressure on these stations and biofuels and hydropower is not enough to meet the country's demands since I have worked on biofuels (it will take around 50-60 years to get into commercial applications)and nuclear fusion technology is also 30-40 years apart so many investors will think before investing in any IPO of these EV based startups which did not generate profits in their last ventures also

FYI, Ratan Tata pulled out his hands from these people. Obviously, he knows the mindset of these people.

one more thig to point out is ola is profitable at the unit economics of the scooter but they have to allocate huge sums of money to build their manufacturing plant and battery manufacturing facility so i belive there is a huge risk to take but also the upside is very high
