So basically... 1. Don't get trims 2. Brush wet hair with a comb, not a brush 3. Take vitamins and cod liver oil 4. Use a Heat protectant, less heat means your hair grows faster 5. Dye your hair? Use a repair treatment to make your damaged hair grow faster 6. Use a hair mask She like took forever....this might save some people.

Sorry, but you are doing/saying alot of mistakes! You arent supposed to brush/comb/anything if you have WET hair! You arent even supposed to "brush" your hair with a towel!!! ONLY COMB WHEN DRY! And try to wash your hair less times. From washing your hair once on 2 days to washing on 3 days wont make the difference! The hair doesnt need washing at all, YOU think you need it because it is greassy and dirty. So once a week or once on 2 weeks is the best washing routine. Dont use shampoo with parabens, sulfates, parfumes.. It makes damage to your hair. For split ends you are right. You dont need to trim your hair once a month. You need a trim once 5-6 months. And about 1-2 inches. And you dont need 1000 products! If you need to blow dry it, just set it on cool and make sure you have blowdryer far from hair. If you have damaged hair, the only solution is to trim it. No product on Earth wont help you to repair it. AND NEVER NEVER USE HAIR STRAIGHTENER OR CURLER OR ANYTHING WITH HEAT! If you want it more straight, you can only wait to grow, so the weight of the hair is stretching your hair. If you want it curlier, you can try sock method or something similar. No need for using heat! NEVER DYE YOUR HAIR. Especially not on lighter colour! If you bleach, thats DEATH to your hair! And not just to your ends! And try to use some kind of oil on ends and a little bit on the length of your hair (not on scalp) because hair need oils to be protected. And dont do as others are saying in the comments (to massage oil in the hair, leave it for 10 min or smtn, and then wash it out..) .. do that AFTER you wash your hair! When its still damp, and it will help you with the frizz too! And try to have any hair updo. A braid, a cinnamon bun, nautilus, watwewa.. because you make less damage to your hair with it. And how it works? Well if you have just loose hair or in a ponytail, you rub it against the chair, it get stuck when you change your chlotes or it frizz alot and then you have knots, which are also death to your hair. And dont forget to use ONLY a ponytail holder, a some kind of stick, clip, pin.. DO NOT USE hairspray, gel or any product at all! Thats all :)
Not for everyone. If you have curly hair, brushing it dry sometimes isn't a good idea. There's no magic time period for when or how much to trim hair, either. It's 90% dependent on how you treat your hair and the rest is your hair type. I also use product. My hair is past classic and in excellent shape, heading towards fingertip.
Brushing it dry is always a good idea, wether on curly or straight hair. Brushing wet hair is really damaging, because wet hair is more elastic than dry hair. And if you pull a comb/fingers/etc through your with hair, yous stretch them,but they dont go back. And stretched hair is damaged hair.
Katja Vodopivec I've been a hairdresser for closing in on 10 years, now, specializing in ethnic and curly hair. My curly hair is also to my hips dry and past classic when wet, with minimal damage (all hair is damaged to some degree, just from friction against itself and the elements). I think I have a pretty decent handle on how to manage curls. Some hair can't handle being brushed at all (if you've curls and not waves, as a general rule, I suggest getting rid of your brushes all-together and switching to combs), and brushing dry curls separates the curls, can create static, can tangle it more and can create more breakage, fairy knots and tangles than if you comb it wet, depending on hair type.
Then you dont know how to brush dry hair if you are claiming thats better if you comb wet hair than dry. And being a hairdresser doesnt mean you know how to handle hair on healthy way.
***** same here, I cut my hair to the top of my ears in August right before school and now it is to the bottom of my ears it is supposed to grow 0.5-1.0 inches in a month and my grow at the most about 0.3 because it has been 6 months and has grown 2 inches...

She could've just decided to not post this video and keep all of it to herself, but she didn't.. She shared her story and wanted to help those that might want to grow their hair out. I got layers and it made my hair go Sooooooo fast it grew the fastest it's ever grown plus it's a nice style if your thinking about getting layers DO IT it's so worth it and it's soo BEAUTIFUL have fun with your hair girls! My hair is long and all I do is 1.use shampoo 2 times. Like wash the shampoo out of your hair while massaging it then put in more shampoo. 2.make sure you get all the Shampoo out of your hair. It has to be out. 3. Only wash your hair in warm or cold water. 4.use conditioner after you shampoo. 5. Air dry your hair. 6.repeat till you get the hair you desire.

That's stupid to not get your hair trimmed. Don't listen to that bs at all. I thought the same thing and never got my hair cut and now I have thousands of split ends and fly away hairs that I can't cut without cutting my hair to my shoulders. You should always take care of your hair and cut it every six months. I can't just cut my hair, either, because my hair is way longer than hers, like, past my bottom, and I don't just want to cut off all my split ends to have my hair at shoulder length when I spent seven or eight years growing it out. There's no way to make your hair grow faster. Be patient and make sure to get a half inch or inch cut off every six months.
***** Yes, getting your hair cut every month is ridiculous, which is why I said that you should get it trimmed every 6 months. And it is completely untrue that your hair grows faster with products. All that does is make your hair greasy. Your hair may seem like it is growing faster, but, truly, it isn't. There is no way to make your hair grow faster, but by using products (such as the ones you suggested) it /does/ keep your hair healthy and helps it grow, but it doesn't make it grow faster. Basically, if you keep your hair healthy (such as using products), your hair won't get as many split ends and will make it seem like it is growing faster, but really you are just keeping your hair healthy which makes it grow properly.

I had middle staged hair right before Christmas and I cut it off before new years, about half an inch past my chin. now it's shoulder length (I've been getting regular haircuts and I've colored it Bleu at one time, now I've bleached it) it sucked, and my hair looked super thin because of my split ends

Here's the easier way to get long hair -get in your car -drive to Walmart -go to the hair stuff -grab extensions -go to the cashier -grab money -pay -drive home -put them in your hair SEEE EASYY
From a professional hairdresser(which I am) POV, yes you should get a trim a few times a year but, like she said in the video, not every other month. I always recommend going about 3-4 months between trims. If you never get a trim your hair will keep splitting up and up. Oh, another thing is to not color your hair as often. Go as long as possible between coloring. Its been roughly 6 months since I last colored my hair, and it's grown about 3.5 inches. Hope that helped =].
holy throwback. this was the first video I ever watched of Niki and Gabi. this is the video that I "discovered" them. when I watched this I had shoulder length hair and was so in love with how long Gabi's hair was. and now almost 4 years later my hair is just a little bit longer, maybe an inch. so crazy how I thought it was sooooo long and now I'm just like yeah same. Youre right about the trimming! For the past three years Ive only trimmed my hair 3 times and my hair is now almost belly button length! And I dont even have split ends only like 3 or 4. Great tips!

for anybody who thinks they need to get a trim every month to get long hair, that is probably the last thing you do it'll take you ages because you're just cutting off your progress. just take care of it don't use heat often and you're pretty much good and stay away from any shampoo and conditioner that will damage your hair. i have long hair (down to my butt) i haven't gotten it cut since last march in 2013 and i just use coconut/keratin oils and dove shampoo and only straighten my hair on occasion. other than that i braid it every night before i go to bed. good luck
That's what i do. I stopped trimming it a long time ago, and then just started using dove (because it makes my hair softer), but I am guilty of brushing my hair after i dry if off with a towel lol. But yes i do enjoy braiding my hair :)) My hair compared to last September was down to my shoulder. Now it's down to the bottom of my chest.
I have really long hair and I get complements on it since I was 10 years old (I'm 16 now) here's what I do: -Apply coconut oil to your hair and brush it out -leave it in for 20-30minutes -wash my hair with shampoo to get out the coconut oil. (Twice) -brush your hair again WITH A COMB - apply conditioner and brush again. -wash everything out and let your hair air dry. Your hair will be so soft and silky after this hope it helped someone😘😘
