i have been staying at this mitwpu ke hostels since 1.5 months. istg nothing is right here. Food quality is worst. there is one common fridge jisme saman rakh bhi nahi sakte for long or else they throw it out. paise lene tak they are all nice and suddenly after rceiving the amount they change their tone. i came to pune on 1st august, they made me stay in a random hotel which was 10km away from college in a not so safe area. after paying such huge amount, i expect decent human standards. then we(few students+me) were shifted to a newly made hostel which wasn"t even ready. there were no doors to bathroom and rooms were so small, conjusted, suffocating with a single fan. so my friend and i stayed at a hotel for next 5 days. on the day of shifting to a new hostle, the warden wasnt even picking up the call. after a day of trying she picked up the call next day. they shifted us to a hostle. i thought everything would get better but it started getting worse, food doesnt reach on time, wifi issue, water issue. still i did not complain much and was quite. today randomly a warden came and took my kettle with her saying it wasnt allowed. LIKE I WASNT INFORMED ABOUT THIS BEFOREHAND.i did not know shit about this. for all the first years, i think only few hostels(bhavdhan) ka hi acche hai. u can stay here for some time but dont compromise with stuff that was promised to you. Beds break here frequently and they charge you money for it even though it was not your fault. My friend's table broke and it was fixed(screw tight kiya) by watchman bhaiya and that table broke again but she wasnt even there in the hostle(ghar gayi thi voh). these people said that she would have to pay for the repair. her roomates told her that it was fixed by watchman and then she fought ki voh yaha thi bhi nahi. so its really messed up here.
The kettal vali cheez is very wrong I believe ,bcz that’s your personal property , you can use it , even me and my friends used to cook Maggie and pastas in the kettal late night , Baki sari cheeze I know I have experienced too, well you are adjusting for all these bare minimum facilities but don’t listen to this kettal vali cheez, you can use the kettal or any boiler or any steamer you want in your room .
I was in ambegaon hostel last year, i tell you what the issue is last year there was only one mit hostel which was in ambegaon and we were the first batch but mit realised that that hostel is not enough for the number of students so this year they got another few hostels near the college but its girls only. Last year they made the video for ambegaon hostel and there was no marketing done for the new hostels. You should file a complaint about this but i feel the college will just ignore it as always
Ambegaon Hostel is worsttt. No service at all. They only advertise that their hostel is fantastic but in actual the scenario is completely different. Do not take admission in Ambegaon hostel.

100% true hai, jaisa dikh raha hai vaisa kuch bhi nahi hai meri beti bhi isi week wahaper gayi hai vagaper yahi chal raha hai , college to sahi hai per hostel me gadbad dikhaii de raha hai
I stayed in mit hostel ambegaon the way they treated us the entire year was disgusting the food we had was poison the management is chu** last one year was a huge task Thank god you did not take there
I am too a Diploma Computer Engineering student and I also want to take admission there. I have just contacted with the MIT WPU authority about this and they told me that your admission will be done on the basis of your Diploma merit and you don't need to give any exam for admission and the scholarship too will be given to you on the basis of your Merit.

no no its never hot in pune except march and april. Im also living in hostel in kothrud (the same area where MIT is located) but it raining all the time so its nice weather sometimes u wouldnt even need fan. Pune's weather is really nice its ntg like mumbai dont worry bout the temperature.

It is good .. it takes almost like 2 weeks for you to get comfortable here till then you’ll feel annoyed but once you’re comfortable it’ll be all fun so no worries … professors are very nice and supportive
Annoyed of the distance , building names , faculties , class room etc etc .. bcz we don’t know anyone on the first day we have to figure out every thing on our own .
