I really enjoyed this hunt. You are not live talking with everyone, just being yourself. This is the real Metal detecting . 99% picking up Trash , but it’s that one percent that makes it great. The hunt is you just never know what kind of day it will be but it’s still better than sitting on your ass watching TV . lol.
5:12 Hey, just spending a few minutes or so with our internet bestie is never a dull moment. Whether they’re all pull tabs or all shredded aluminum. We’re here and we respond and for those who aren’t here…well they’re just missing out. 🤷🏻♀️
I average about 50 cents an hour lol. But you cant deny hitting that one 1500 dollar chain or ring a season doesn't feel great. Its the 75990 pull tabs and junk id like to forget. We are a group of guys, girls that likes talking to themselves walking the beach alone. That's part of the treasure.😂
Nice hunt Austin. Beach is the beach. Always enjoy it even if it is slow. I dig it all on the beach. I see the Aussies hitting 18k Chunker rings in our zinc shield penny range. Keep it up my man. Good stuff.
Super new guy here. So what I'm gathering is it's important to enjoy doing the hobby first and then enjoy those moments when you do find something as well. If thats the case I'm down. I enjoy nature and walking. Not scared of a bit of work. Wish more people would breifly explain their equipment and settings for the particular hunt. Enjoyed the video.
Appreciate the videos and yes this is the reality us detectorists face mostly modern clad and garbage. Its a numbers game digging everything non ferrous but also right place, right time. I too just purchased the Deus 2 and still learning to get use it efficiently. Disappointed with the flex on the bottom shaft not being carbon fiber among other defects but this machine is the most capable one out there for all its features. I started with the Legend 4 months ago and got ridiculously lucky finding a huge gold chain in a park. I still have yet to find old silver coins...
Austin your videos are great, real funny informative and just entertaining, try to watch some others but their to slow or only show what they found and not the swinging or are just plain boring. You’re doing an awesome job keep up the videos and good luck. I just got my first detector and can’t wait to really get out there. Thanks
I don't know what machine you're swinging Austin but I after the 8th scoop and the target still faint and down in the hole, I said to myself it's a bottle cap...he'll say Corona. Then it's solid fifty in the last scoop. Bingo. Good stuff!!
When you are finding the pull tabs in the low tide line it’s a no go! And all the beaches suck right now! I hit south Miami Beach last week and did t pull one ring in 3 days! Normally I can pull at least 9 rings in that area on a week trip. All of Bradenton and Sarasota is a ghost town! I was able to pull 2 silver , 1 14k snd 2 bling rings all in the fluffy sand. Other than that the wet is empty.
finally an honest metal detector clip. 15 years ago myself and a friend bought 2 underwater metal detectors for $1,500 each!! after 2 years the best treasure we found was an id bracelet and we live in a much visited lake area. don't trust any of the "wow, look what I found videos".
You’re Right about a scarcity of coins in the future with exact amount plastic transactions more common, people have little need or opportunity to acquire change in daily life
Good hunt! Your antenna wire can be left wrapped around the rod. As long as you don’t put controller under water it will pick up coil fine! Find a big one! Good luck!
I tried playing with bottle cap reject on my legend, on older bottle caps dropped 10, 20, maybe 50 years ago and it didnt seem to be able to do squat, i tried every level over a bunch of different caps and they still rung through, although i havnt tested it on fresh bottle cap drops, i only tested it on just old rotten ones, in an older park
Funny ya said that research is key i look at a town looked it up avg house hold had a income of 75.000 thats not bad. As for beach work low spots one beach flat good area on the big run out tides it can be 32 hundred meters to water line.
HAY THEY AUSTIN POWER'S I'M OK FOR NOW !? THANK'S FOR CLEANING UP THEM PLACE'S JOB WELL DONE👍!? AWESOME ADVENTURE'S EXCELLENT HUNT'S FANTASTIC SCORE'S OF ALL TREASURE'S !? MERRY 🎄🌟 CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR'S !? HOPEFULLY ALL IS WELL GOD SPEED KEEP FROSTY WATCH WATCH 6 TAKE CARE ✝️🌞Ⓜ️ !?
Videos are always great regardles the finds. I am fairly new to the metal detecting hobby. What got me into it was Covid and the need to be outdoors. I have a couple videos I have made and really want to get better at putting them together for my channel. What software do you use to edit your videos if you dont mind me asling? Love your channel!
Great to be outside. I use a basic program called VSDC but there are some other great ones out there.. another one being DaVinci Resolve. Both of those are free. 👍
This is why I subscribe to you and quickly dump other channels. You know the ones who in 2 hrs dig up 3-4 rings. Watched this one guy claiming he got 7 rings in one video at the same beach within an hr at one beach.
Right now I don't have any other way set up besides membership on youtube or the "thanks" option which is kind hidden and hard to find. Appreciate you.
Where are you hunting? I don’t know of any spots on the gulf coast that you can’t hunt the water! The only place you can’t hunt the water is the treasure coast. From south Melbourne beach to south fort pierce! This is due to the treasure laws out greedy state out I place after Mel fisher tried to screw them out of their cut! There is actual treasure leases in place in that area. Did you actually research it?
I was told by a park employee and a few people I know to keep away from the water there so I try to as best I can. I think it's actually a state park so you're only allowed to detect between the dunes and the tide line? I should research it more but I try not to push my luck. I don't mind sticking to the tide line. 👍
Really!? I just started detecting. So anything below Melbourne we can’t do it in the water? So let’s say like Ponce De Leon beach would be off limits in water?
