I did that and met her in LA but she wasn't cool with me as a stranger just showing up. I was like but you told me to meet you in the rain and she was like how did you know I was here and I was like because I stalk you and she was all weirded out and I was like shhhhhhh, just let it happen.
You sure? the stadium is surrounded by ugly parking lots and a river. If that’s a genuine fine at this venue it’s a total BS one as there’s nobody to disturb
I saw her Speak Now tour in high school in a stadium. It started POURING during Enchanted, poured through Dear John too. I never cried so much as a fan girl lmqo
I love Taylor Swift but I hate the rain. It brings life and rejuvenation. I prefer dry heat that sucks your soul out and murders your sense of order in the world.
@@andrewwomble2722there is something very cool about the experience when it pours. I went to an afc championship game and it started pouring in the second half. Made the win that much more fun
Massive respect to Taylor, her band, her dancers....to all the people involved, crowd, security, all the behind scenes ect. Many an artist would of cancelled the show & rebooked (if abled, I understand her shows are on a fairly tight schedule, either back to back different city, different state ect) offer money back? OK so obviously delayed, but got on to it once realising rain wouldn't let up, wow, how amazing to be there to see & listen, to witness another fantastic concert of hers & probably the worst weather for a concert to continue, another one down in history for her. Seriously though, there would not be many artists that would continue? Well done to all involved! That is dedication to their craft 😅
I was at this show!! Waiting out on those ramps was actually terrible but the suspense of not knowing if she’d go on and just going through such an ordeal for it to finally happen made it even more exciting and surreal. Plus we got amazing surprise songs!! It was miserable and magical 💜
I drove lyft the whole weekend swift was in Nashville. I took off Sunday my god those fans love her to much. It’s rain out and they still waited like no
This reminds me of the Lady Gaga concert my mom and I went to. It started raining and thunder and everything. Last show of the tour and after hours of waiting (and at least hundreds of ppl leaving) it was canceled 😭❤️ I wish we were able to wait it out and finish the show but she was amazing and she felt so loving. I imagine that's what taylor would have felt like and I WISH I was able to go
Does anyone remember when she performed “Should’ve Said No” at the ACM awards in 2008 with rain? This rain during the concert would have been perfect for that song!
legit the best day of my life. i was there, pretty sure i was right in front of your ramp lol. it was so crammed it was insane. but i would totally do it again lol! 13/10 experience
You have to give her credit. She clocks in, goes to work, and gets the job done by putting on a great show for her fans regardless of the weather. Taylor Swift has this old U.S. Army Infantryman’s respect.
Even with Taylor going on 2 and a half hours late in Nashville, you made it home an hour before I did leaving her show at Gillette in Foxboro, and I only live an hour from the stadium.
I live 20 minutes from the stadium I went to and we weren’t home until 2am with the regularly scheduled show. 70k fans inside, 20k outside, they had to shut down the street for it. And then the parking lot was at a CRAWL for an hour and a half afterwards
Omg you’re lucky you got home so fast! It took us almost 3 hrs to find a ride to our vrbo, then we had an hour to sleep before needing to head to the airport
I went to that show and it was really cool but it caused people to panic because they thought it was going to be canceled! It was great she sang until 2:20
Omg I was there, the thing is though is that due the rain delay, the merch line wasn’t bad at all bc you could just sneak past everyone because it was just a giant crowd of people and there wasn’t much of a designated line anymore
She truly gets on my nerves. With all that " I did it all myself, I'm totally self made" is just disrespectful to every one that put her there. Yes she has talent but so do thousands of others that didn't have the connections or backing from wealthy people so she was able to get good management and lawyers and promoters and stylists or producers.
It thunderstormed immediately after her Reputation performance in Miami and there were no taxis allowed in the Dolphins stadium for like an hour, so I sat under a decorative palm bush in a costume and five in heels and held my handmade “U🐍 traitors never win” sign over my head to [fail to] block the downpour until they finally let the Ubers through and I split a $60 ten minute ride back to the hotel with 12 year old and her mom I’d met in the lobby earlier 😂 CHAOS. But I loved the show haha
@@meganlynn83 you’re assuming that I do. Being curious about something doesn’t automatically equate to caring about it. I’m genuinely curious about how human beings think. And one could turn this around and say why does my question bother *you* so much?
@@meganlynn83 oh, get grip: so do you. You care far too much about a stranger on the internet asking a question. Remember every time you point a finger, three fingers are pointing at yourself.
I honestly don't know how sh Ed e goes to sleep at night. Still remember when my team and i won gold medal for 4x100 relays and whole school was cheering as i ran the last 100m. It was 500 ++ people screaming and i almost didn't sleep that night. It was over whelming but joyful, but still couldn't sleep, think bout what Taylor experiences, a sea of people in the arena and probably even more outside the gate.
The crazies thing I’ve ever had at a concert was Olivia rodrigo. It was basically first come first serve so everyone was stampeding when they opened the gates to get to the front row
Pretty normal for the main act not to start until 10pm where I am. The last Madonna concert I went to she came on at midnight. Sounds like you’d rather she had cancelled and sent you all home to bed early
People keep talking about it being fun - it's not it's cold and miserable - we're going to a covered stadium next time (I was at the rain show in Foxborough - which was more brutal in terms of the rain (actually nonstop), wind, and cold but at least wasn't delayed)
You were there. I’m sure it wasn’t fun waiting but I know there’s thousands of Taylor Swift fans who can only dream of being there. Not raining on your parade just bringing another way to see things for those of you who were upset.
