Executive Engineer is very important even in state PWD . Emmense pressure ( political & administrative) . Departmental proceedings are bound to happen sgsinst pwd EE ( stste) . EE has to deal with DM / district judge / high court judge / MLA/MLC/ MP / MINISTER & CM visiting the district. All disaster management works are executed by state EE with DM / Divisional commissioners / ministers incharge of district & departmental minister . Action is bound to happen against pwd EE . So cpwd is much easier than pwd as compared to political / judicial / public & bureaucratic ( ias ) interference .
sir I have one question if I joined aee in ces roads and after becoming an executive engineer can i go deputation on cpwd and become executive engineer in cpwd ?
Posting locations are subject to availability of vacancies. Also one should try for postings in places where there is more work. Hometown shouldn’t be the criteria of posting, at least in initial years
Thats not true. You get salary as per 7th cpc. Irrespective of what work u do. Thats one of the biggest problem in government setup. There is no monetary incentive for doing more work.
Yes you will be posted in New Delhi till you are in planning unit. But any tenure will be for 3 to 4 years max. Afterwards you will be transferred. At senior positions, you may be posed for a long time in different planning positions

If you have prepared for the subjects of the exam in your bachelors and masters the. You should try for it. For getting cpwd you will have to secure good ranks as it is most sought after department. Do check my other videos, you will get to know about working of cpwd. And then u may decide on it. If you haven’t prepared before and thinking of starting afresh, it is going to take a little longer time. About 2 to 3 years to crack Ies with good rank. Decide aptly

as a young mind aspiring to enter into government service, we should see what should be our priorities. If earning money is the goal, then government service is not the right place. If someone is passionate about building infrastructure, he/she should join government service through ese. The opportunities are huge. But if the motive is to earn black money, dude aap pakde jaaoge.
It is not IES.The exam is called Combined Engineering Services Examination. And selected for different Engineering services( Military Engineering Services, Indian Railway Engineering Service etc) .
UPSC conducts Deputy architect exams. Architects in CPWD come through that exam. Training and posting is similar to that of engineers. If you want to know more about their job roles, let me know.
@@Arigatosan77 yes we can. Under intimation to the department, one can earn through these platforms as long as the content doesnt violate CCS rules. The content creation comes under IPR. However if you are from kerala, you as government official, are barred from any earning through social media
