thanks for doing this video Andrew. Interesting that it’s a high AOV ad account. I’m using bid caps on high spend ad accounts exclusively and I’ve found recently that bid cap works wonders at an AOV below $100 but on the ad accounts where AOV is $300-$500, they really struggle. I haven’t yet been able to get bid cap to flourish in higher AOV ad accounts.
I don't think this is a high vs a low AOV issue, per se, but more likely a "natural volatility" issue. I.e. it's not the caps that are the problem; it's the reality of inherently small sample sizes + ranging customer behaviors.
Hey man, after a major change like a product price increase that would change the actual conversation rate from the predicted conversation rate by Facebook... How long would you have to wait for Facebook to adjust to the change? Thanks for the video, great content as always
I don't know exactly. I just know that the more conversions you get per ad set, the faster the update. It's not about time; it's about conversion volume.
Hi, Andrew! Do you think it makes sense to scale a campaign that is close to the desired ROAS(maybe like 20% behind it) or it will lead to further decline of ROAS?
I don't "scale" any campaign.I run manual bids and let the machine learning scale it for me. Best place to get your head around this strategy is my Opening The Books episodes (for example: Beardbrand: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q0eJj3m-Hqs.html Pretty Boy: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0ucXoG4Dy3w.html
