독보적인 톤이라는게 대중가수에게 굉장히 큰 무기이지만 그래도 어느정도 보컬 실력이 기본이 된 후에 톤을 강조하는게 좋지 않나 싶네요…

They might have proper skill but they lost their individual identity. What happened now is they are just copying the technique from their ancestor. I believe a singer should be given flexibility to show off their distinct voices instead of being stuck in the old school system. Thus, they all sound the same.

@@keepingupwithrefakim1910 well, i suggest you listen to the song called "Step Back" without watching the video performance and try to find Taeyeon's part. I think Taeyeon, Seulgi, Wendy and Winter voices sound the same. My point is, their system is basically training their rookies to copy the techniques of their seniors, thus, the originality of the singer disappears. It is not fair to the seniors and also limits the flexibility of the juniors.

@@gleamingly6034 i have been in this kpop thingy for 17 years. So only people who listen taeyeon or any sm artists from the beginning that they were totally sounds different. In that stab back i can tell which one is taeyeon, Boa, wendy or even seulgi. They’re totally sound different.

@@keepingupwithrefakim1910 by you're saying that "only people listening to them from the beginning" only prove my statement that they all sound the same unless you're a fan. Thus, you mentioned SM as the best system that seems like a bias statement to me and you probably cannot oversee from objective pov. I respect your opinion as a fan of SM but I cannot fully agree with your first comment. SM should improve better in various aspects esp their frequency of reusing the senior song, remaster and then giving it to the juniors. And this has happened since before like Suju releasing again song from HOT. Once again, I blame the systems not the artist. If you are a true kpop fan then I dont think you should support a company more than the artist. The system needs to be always has room for improvement. The method that works before does not mean that it works now. And also I cannot agree with your saying "SM has the best and the greatest singer" because YG has good vocal+technique+unique voices that came in a package that if you are not a fan also you can tell the differences.
