I am a single mom of 2 girls. Reproductive rights and healthcare is EXTREMELY important to me and my family. But with my income I can't afford to buy a home in Georgia, and I make a pretty healthy amount. I routinely have to juggle my budget to manage my household expenses, pay for college for my eldest, save for my retirement and try to find small affordable ways to enjoy life. They have to address the economy on a micro level not just the nations good standing.

The president is not in charge of the economy in Georgia. Georgia's state and local government's can address housing affordability if they want to. I lived in Savannah for seven years. I was in Miami for almost three. I regularly participated in protest related to providing affordable housing in Miami. I lived in a studio apartment. I moved to Savannah because of housing cost. It is a struggle in areas like Atlanta, DC, New York, or Miami not because of the President but because there are more people willing to pay a premium for housing. The demand must be high among people with the money to pay. This is what drives a housing market.....local demand vs public ability to/willingness to pay vs. income levels. The reason economic numbers look so good is because more people have the money to buy things and they are. If demand was not there the prizes would not increase. If more people would stop buying at the outrageous prices the price would go down. The president, no matter who he is, cannot control any one state's economy.
Which one of market effect do you want? Pandemic runs out goods in the groceries or Recovery of market but bit expensive.... With money but nothing to buy or inflation?
