@@gregthehedgehog0956 no it does not but the superman necklace and Hogarth make up for it. I took a plastic beam that came with a batman bane figure and it holds it just fine.

Great review! I did get the gun to completely connect to the arm. It took a few firm rotation pushes but it did go on completely. Looks much better!

I always see iron giant figures at my local collectible shops and alway want to get it but dont! Might need to now! Also I appreciate your format. You're a collectibles reviewer but also promote your art thats related to said figure. As a collector and artist myself I like it. Make me want to start a channel too

He might scale well with some mobile suit gundam or Transformers collections. Still very impressive articulation for the price I think. Got some good expressive poses in this video. Getting the impression he's top heavy. There was a big electronic walking Iron Giant at walmart like three years ago along with the forbidden planet robot. Their not really poseable but they display nicely.

1000toys version is pricey but worth it if you like Iron Giant and you want a pretty definitive version. it might be bigger than 14 inches and diecast too

Great review. Very cool that Diamond Select made a metallic version. Shame about the weight deal and see through mouth aspect. Wish it had effects for the accessories it comes with. Still a cool fandom piece.

I've passed on most Iron Giant figures that I've seen, and I think the cel shading was the reason why. Making it actually look metallic goes a long way in making it look a lot nicer. In video games, animation, etc I love cel shading, but when it comes to physical objects I always think it looks weird. You have to lean into the realism when it's a real object, otherwise it just looks kind of cheap and plain.

Actually, there ARE several shots in the movie where you can see the Giant's neck through his mouth, so that's pretty accurate, in fact. And for scaling; he might look pretty cool posed in a classic model-train layout! And the supplies are very easy to find! =)

I got the regular version some time ago don't remember tbh, and its great its not the best figure ever and its not that great to play with tbh but he looks good on the shelf, and that version does come with a little Hogarth. My only gripe with it is that the plastic is too thin and his whole head lights up, not just the eyes.

The people who say "it's only a toy you shouldn't get so upset" either have alot of money, have someone else buy everything for them, or just dont have a passion. When you spend your own hard earned $ on anything, if it's not as good as you hoped, it makes you upset.... P.S. Alf is the best figure ever

The 1000toys one is incredible. I have it and it was worth every penny. Not sure you can really compare considering the price points aren’t even close. It has a lot of weight to it and the articulations are awesome.
