After being diagnosed with lesions on his brain, which he later learned was a sign of cancer, Menachem Pomerantz of Brooklyn, NY knew that his only hope was to visit the Ohel of the Lubavitcher Rebbe to seek his blessing.
Watch Menachem tell the story of his inspiring Ohel experience and its miraculous results. It's a no brainer! "I went to the Ohel and I believe that the Rebbe saved my life!"
Another modern miracle of the Lubavitcher Rebbe from ‪@rebbestory1329‬
The Zohar teaches that “A tzadik who departs is to be found in all worlds more than in his lifetime.” Because he is free of his corporeal limitations, the tzadik is able to grace those who connect to him with the full impact of his spiritual energies, imparting to them the love and fear of G-d, and showering them with abundant blessing and extraordinary miracles.
Upon the passing of his father-in-law and predecessor, the Rebbe advised people to continue jotting down their requests and to read the note (or place it on the table) in the room where he received people during his lifetime or at his graveside. “The Rebbe,” he said, “will find a way to respond.”
In a similar fashion, Jews around the globe today continue seeking direction, blessing, and advice from the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, visiting his resting place or slipping a note into a volume of his holy work. Here are their stories and how the Rebbe came through for them in extraordinary ways.
Special thank you to ‪@JewishMedia‬ for providing the photo of the Rebbe.

It's inappropriate to put the Divine Name on a Jewish channel. We do not use it.

We know that G-d healed him, not the Rebbe, of righteous memory. The Rebbe said it almost the time. He was, and still is, our special emissary to G-d. Totally appropriate.

Although the Rebbe may have intervened in his behalf, let's remember Who the true Rofei/Doctor is. It's G-d.

We know Who. We need no reminder. The Rebbe, of righteous memory, said it all the time. He was our loving emissary to G-d.

What is the similarity with these Chabad stories and Evangelical testimonies? They both want followers. And why do they want followers? Because _they know that they are not the real thing_ . So what _is_ the real thing? It is to have a personal relation with the G'd of Israel in a _spiritual_ way, as apposed to an intellectual way. Anyone who can say oamén to Tehillim 145.18-20 and who can apply it literally on their own lives knows what I am talking about. You don't have to belief in (the words of) the apostle Paul to become a _No(t)sri_ or in (the words of) the Rebbe to become a _Yehudi_ . You really don't have to become someone (else) you are not. You have to BE someone. Be a real _Yechidi_ . No need to cling to a (any) belief system if you already _know_ by personal experience that the omipresent G'd of Israel is taking care of you like a father cares for his child. I am not a Christian and I am not a Jew. But every morning, I say out loud what my own personal experience is. From the siddur: "Boaruch atoa Adonoai Eloheinu - maelaech hoa'oloam - shae-oasoah li kol zoarki." The G'd of Israel is my God. There is no one else like Him. And He is one. I gave my life to Him. And that's real teshuvah. Give your life (back) to G'd on an imaginary altar. Don't hand it over to an organisation or belief system.
@nomorecensoringme
@nomorecensoringme Год назад
You talk like a Christian. No 'altar' in Judaism. No 'Paul' either. Trying to hedge your bets covering both sides of that aisle? Not for me to say it's wrong. Don't however try to tell others what isor isn't to be believed. The "Hebrew" words aren't correct for what you're using.
@nomorecensoringme
@nomorecensoringme Год назад
These stories are not posted to 'gain followers'. These stories are shared to show how wonderful life is. How miraculous. If you don't like it that people have a relt with the Rebbe, why are you here? To throw mud? A waste of your time. And of the light you could be spreading instead of darkness.

Most people, even my fellow Jews, don't look up videos about the Rebbe, of righteous memory. You don't like, you don't. Fine. Don't trash us for liking.

@@nomorecensoringme I'm just expressing that I am the odd one out. I am not a Jew, not a Christian and not a Noachide. But as I have put my trust in the G'd of Jisjoa'él and He in turn, has provided for my every need, I guess you could say that I am now living proof that you can do mi(t)swoth without becoming someone you are not. I am sorry for making the comparison between Evangelics and Chabadniks and that you might be offended that I see them as gaining followers. But it _is_ actually what both groups are doing.
@nomorecensoringme
@nomorecensoringme Год назад
@@RudydeGroot if, by happenstance, people want to become an observant Jew, it is a long road to conversion. It's not meant for everyone,or even for most people. Yes it is offensive since the goal of 'Evangelicals' is to convert people. It is not, not, not, the purpose of the Rebbe, of righteous memory, nor of Chassidus, nor of CHaBaD.
