Welcome to Studio Time and subscribe to see videos on recording and production ideas, studio equipment and workflow tips, as well as recording sessions. Intro to the recording studio mini-course: andrewmastersc... www.andrewmast...
Hey Andrew, I don't know how expensive this would be or whether you could get sponsors for it, but it would be fun to see you do "Epic Studio Makeovers" where you take a small home studio and upgrade it with your recommended gear.
I'm a solo artist known on SoundCloud as Jeremykeys. I'm currently working on an up tempo rock song. I'd put up a link to my songs but I"m not sure if that's allowed,
Doing a total home studio renovation rn. Moving to a new room and turning the old room into a nursery 😊 I’d love see you talk about the best insulation and Sheetrock for quiet rooms?
Nice and informative video. Loved it. Have been referred here by Colin Cross my very good friend and teacher in my learning curve with GarageBand😀. Subscribed as well! Have a blessed New year 2024. Regards, Dr. Somanna
I'm so glad you decided to make the jump to create this channel. I know we talked about it during the consult you did with me, and I still believe you should gate this type of content through a paid sub. You could still release short clips and tips here on this channel, but leave the in depth content on one of the paid sub sites. Either way, loved the video, great production value!
Love the new channel already! Currently I'm working on strategies to optimize space in a small home studio. Specifically I'm trying to get as many things off of the floor as I can, and have all of my cabling as hidden as possible.
Love the new channel 🥳 We’re working on a new instrumental project that will be released on iTunes later this year. I would love to see some tricks of the trade on this channel. Maybe some DAW work and even some instrument or vocal recording. Loving everything you’ve so far. Keep up the good work!!!
Subscribed! Currently trying to release more original songs and working with a band (i’m doing the recordings and production), all with the goal one day of making it part of my daily job. Would love to see some in-depth reviews about mics and production techniques you may use and come up over time, something that you’d like to share!
I'm the 243rd subscriber! Yay! I Love all your videos dude. You inspired my all in the box studio build. Your videos have been the guiding light to my design and concepts of how my studio was to be built. Can't wait to see what next you are going to inspire in me and I actually go do it! 2024 is my first year I get to work in a "Finished" studio with no build interruptions. I believe you have brought more value into studio owners/producers lives by giving us a chance to see what else it out there and how people are doing it maybe differently than you. Your new channel is going to be golden, I know it! Keep up the great work my dude.
hey, great vid and congrats !! i have a question thats driving me crazy. Speaker monitors. Im right in the position of making a big decision on what and where Do i go with what ive used for yrs, like a soffit mounted JBL or Westlake large old school reliable l ?? or a current vintage like a near field Focal or Neumans ? . It seems more and more we are involving less of the control room acoustics with being right close to the speakers like nearfields.. Are people only using one set of speakers now?for their mix thanx .
Did you get rid of your Focal's in favor of the Barefoots? Which ones are those and are the really amazing? How is the bass response and the clarity throughout the frequency range?
I did. Everything is better in my room and listening position. Speakers are all mostly awesome, what matters is the speaker, room, listening position relationship. These footprint 01’s solved that equation for me massively. Got rid of my sub and have incredible translation in and out of the room.
