Seventy years ago, when my family used to visit Blackpool on day trips. what you referred to as Pontins we referred to as Squires Gate Holiday Camp. In my mind's eye I can still see the buildings. Well done,Stephen! You captured the arrival of the aeroplanes very well indeed. I loved the build up and the "guest appearances" of helicopters, light aeroplanes, a police car and an almost show-stealing train going by. Your patience paid off in the end!

After last years spectacular show we wish that we could be in Blackpool this weekend. Sadly, not to be and so we rely on you Steve to post some amazing footage. Thanks for all your videos, reminding us of 40 years of visiting Blackpool. We shall return very soon. Dave and Sophie xx

I was very lucky to see the Red Arrows do a little display while sitting at the stone seats opposite the Lyndene hotel Friday evening around 6.30pm. I was late out to see the sea yesterday. Thank you for another great video Stephen xxx

That reminds me of when my dad used to take me & my mam to the airshow every year. I loved the Redatrows but I was hearing sensitive so it was a bit noisy for me 😂❤
Well worth the 2 hour wait Stephen. You dont see the Red Arrows every day & that split was spectacular and they were perfectly in line when they flew over your head. Just think you could of missed them if you went to queue for Fish & Chips. Hope you had a nice tea though. Great stuff
Why do people hate walking so much, its like they want to park in the actual shop sometimes🤷, disabled bays should be priority really, but us being a civilised society and everything wah wah, Nice Sand dunes by the way, thank-you for your patience waiting for them--Awesome✈🛩🚀
