We got to tag along with the Red Baron Crew at the IDRC race at Fontana on 4.13.14. They ran great, 8.11, 8.03 then a 7.96 second pass all in the 180mph range. Epic
My uncle was a drag racer back in the 60's and 70's he ran a Corvette called the red Baron he has a fair record with the NHRA respectful times ever for today
One of my go to videos displaying team work and team members celebrating together! Late to commit but congratulations guys!! What's next for the fastest Fulkers around? Myself like a lot of others asking if the Barron is coming out?
Eric, could you please explain how you can run those times in the quarter mile with that gigantic set of stainless steel balls you are carrying around? And is that Dom at 4.59?
Good video I'm trying to build a drag beetle myself if you would like to see the process when it start come subscribe and watch the hard work and process
Maybe the answer is late, but I guess what I have seen, the core body is original VW. You can see this at the door hangers e.g. But the front is definitely not OEM ;-) Also the rear fenders, the doors and stuff like that are some carbon fiber thing I guess. But it's everytime the same question: how much original parts are left. Is it a beetle anymore? Or is it a complete custom Chassis with a beetle shell on top?
