It's not required for everyone, everyday, warfare or not. A mikvah will suffice for daily life, BUT if they want to go into the temple courts, then yes, it was required. Thanks for the question 👍

Today's equivalent to "toward the front of the Tent of Meeting" would be the Mount of Olives in front of where the Temple once stood. Although the Temple is not currently standing, it's location still retains it's kedusha (holiness). During the time in the wilderness the Ark was not in a permanent location. But since David bought Ornan's threshing floor on Mt. Moriah and Solomon built the 1st Temple, we now have a permanent location.

I agree about the Zakok line, but since we don't know 'for sure' today who is of the line, I think the priests in training now will bring the 3rd temple into reality, but after its defilement and the return of Messiah, HE will cleanse and restore as the Maccabees did after Antiochus. He will ensure the rightful priesthood and function as well as improve on all that isn't complete in the temple. We already expect that anything we build will fall short of what it will become once He is here to set it right and glorify it as He desires!! :)

Hi Joyouslily! The Mercy Seat is not a "seat" like a chair. No one would actually sit on it. Also it is in the Holy of Holies, and the verse says he's only in the Holy place which is before the Holy of Holies. When it says the anti Messiah sits in the Holy place it doesn't mean to literally pull up a chair or squat on the floor--it means to confer, to appoint, to set up oneself in a role or office, etc. An example would be our phrase of a "a sitting president." He's not literally sitting somewhere 24/7, it's simply a phrase meaning he is the existing, current, or active president for the present time. Hope that helps ;)

Hi Patricia! I can see where it might appear like that, but it's really not. It's quite simply a "ceremony" much like mikvah or baptism. God gave instructions for it to be used in the ceremonial cleansing of corpse impurity so it has legitimate purpose and function, not something nonsensical and made up such as superstition usually is like "step on a crack break your mother's back🤦‍♀️ I hope that helps!

The red heftier represents the messiah he is pure spotless, messiah was sinless but he became sin for us . He who was clean became unclean .

If someone is sick, we always encourage them to stay home so that they don't spread it to others. Some people are just dealing with allergies during this time of year, but unfortunately, as with many congregations, we do have some people (both visitors and locals) that show up and are still sick or are just not fully recovered from being sick.

@@JacobsTent It stands to reason if you are ‘sick’ you would not want to go anywhere anyway, more likely to want to stay home.
