This band has had nine past members. Maybe no real cohesiveness, no life-long friendship within the band. Just separate musicians playing their instrument individually, playing out their individual role in the band. No true cohesiveness
Still love them, great performance and a band that stuck to it's guns and walked away from fame and a record contract to produce their own stuff. Glad they are still around living the dream 😎👌👏
@jamesreed6152 playing music I mean, I have seen them twice live since and they were good(one show was cancelled because Ronnie was sick or it would have been 3 times)
@DanielTorres-pw8il I agree in a way, they had energy and a great performance when I seen them but hear it sounds like they are struggling a bit? I am just glad they are still playing after all they have been through.
@@jeromeb6479 you can barely hear him, and he sounds pretty bad. I know he won't sound the same as he did 13 years ago, but it's like he's not even trying
@@idontcare789 I don’t know man, I hear him fine and he’s able to control his pitch and breathing decently. Their live performances 13-14 years ago were absolutely awful, just watch the Sydney Australia moshcam performances. Watching those u can’t tell me that they haven’t improved. If anything it sucks that he can’t scream anymore :(
@@jeromeb6479t’s literally lowered down a step so he doesn’t sound like absolute garbage lol. This is bad. Like bad bad. Also 1:12 to 1:20 he hits 3 bad notes. That’s not him being able to control his vocals at all.
Man, their age is really showing in this. You can totally feel the lack of energy, not that I can complain. They are all pretty old now after all… Will always love this song tho. I still have it on my playlist.
They've probably played this song thousands upon thousands of times. I respect them loads for that cause it's so easy to get bored of a song and shelve it but they stated in interviews that as long as the fans want to hear it live they'll play it. Saw them live a couple years ago and they played this and loved every second.
@@SchnotzzN that’s not what I said. I never expected a huge amazing performance. I’m just stating my opinion. Sorry if that bothers you bro, I don’t know what to tell you
Heard this on the radio this morning and needed to see if this band was still rocking. So glad to see them. This is what live music is at its best! Rock on guys!!!!
I had a lot of chances and i got to see them! First off i saw they're first ever headlining tour in their hometown of Jacksonville Florida and it was also on my 17th birthday and i met them got my shirt autographed and the best part was it was one of their band shirts
Man the dude still have his pipes and them guys are not that young! This song came out 15 years ago and they still perform it like they're in their twenties. Wow.
Wish you guys put a drum cage or cymbal shields. I can hear how challenging it was to get the cymbal bleed out of the vocals. Other than that the mix is solid
The musician capture on this is stellar, but it’s kinda held back by the vocal capture. I get they wanted the “live stage” look but it would have been better served isolating the vocalist. Still really good!
Apparently from what another comment said, there is a lot of cymbal bleed in to vocal mic and they’ve had to do a lot editing to tone it back, which screwed up the vocals. The drummer needs cymbal shields.
First time o saw these guys was on warped tour. They were absolutely awful, I then saw them 3-4 months later at the same location and they were much much better. I distinctly remember the whole crowd falling over and being stuck for 5 minutes while everyone slowly got back up. Being in the middle I had to wait for everyone else to get up before I could move lol.
When I saw them the first time at the warped tour he did the screams but the other 2 times I saw them later his brother did them(but here his mic was off?)still a funny comment though 😆👌
I played a show with them a few years ago at a college. He had short hair, there was nothing else memorable about their performance. Still a good band though
@@AaronSalvatierrayeah, he had always been a little hit or miss. First show I saw them was 2006 at warped tour and he sounded awful. Next was a 3-4 months later and he sounded good, but by no means great, but good enough the set was enjoyable
