Hello mate! So I use cinema grade in fcpx and have been recently testing out film vision 2 and film emulations by Serr

I used the internal ND on the canon adaptor that comes with the red komodo kit!

The Sigma 18-35!

I did add grain yes! It’s been super clean for me so far. Of course making sure I expose correctly! Thank you for watching Elyse!

Did I do it wrong 😂 I do like to use film grain so that might be what you’re seeing? I did shoot that way! Unless you’re just pointing out a common mistake by red users?

@@FilmTyler oh not at all, I was explaining one of the many reasons I theorize people buy a Komodo and then sell it or think there’s something wrong with it. They may not understand its quirks. You only get about two stops of overexposure latitude before it’s basically unusable. But there’s about six stops of underexposuse that it can handle. And everything else I said previously is how to properly expose different conditions. Some people think it’s too noisy but there are work arounds even if that were true to some degree. You’re very humble, thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt anyway. The emulation looks great! I love grain. I use heavy emulation for most narratives. Only thing it’s missing is softening, but I’m sure that’s just a matter of your taste, plus it doesn’t waste your lens’ performance. Great video! Subscribed.
