Both men hid in a natural cave by the side of the great west rock, near Richard Sperry's farm on valley street for six months in 1664 before fleeing to Hadley Massachusetts. John Dixwell number 38 to sign the warrant also went to Hadley but returned in late 1665 to New Haven until his death.

Yes, you're correct. There's an error in the script. 1649 was the year of the signing of the king's death warrant.
