@@Straight-Outta-Scripture of it is superior! Why would I prefer something if it wasn’t superior? I grew up in superior Catholic Schools until there weren’t any where we lived. Now I just came home from inpatient hospice and I am homebound until the end. And after some very wonderful priests, some so-so priests, a very good priest driven out by people who was smeared all over for I don’t why because our Novus Ordo parish was packed with beautiful growing families who dressed in their little suits and ties, and lovely dresses, looking like our family looked when I was growing up, he brought one of my children back to the Church and Baptized all of her adult children who loved him; they drove him away and into our lives came this young priest, ordained at the same time my best friend was dying , and he loves the Traditional Latin Mass. He comes and brings me the Sacraments in my home where we can talk about Catholicism and pray in Latin and discuss questions from my Catechism from Trent. I’m not sure Mass will be possible again but God can answer prayers by any means He will and when you will be seeing Him sooner than you once thought possible it’s time to start finding Him where He will be found and focus on those moments and turn from false hopes and promises which are not a blessing to the soul, but a burden. I don’t want to be preachy but hopefully I am making sense.

@@teresa5654 For the record it isnt NASTY it's called ARMY. 😉 Frankly you sound like you have a pretty good situation all things considered and for that, Gloria Patri et Filio! I'm happy for you! That isnt the norm. In my Army travels I can say that finding him where I find him isnt an option especially for my family. I've seen enough Novus Ordo to know it's not to standard and what you describe is unique in that regard, again, I'm happy for you. When the sights are dialed in you dont touch them. What the SSPX provides is superior and therefore no preference. Like Father Pagliarani said when traditions custodis came out, the TLM is worth dying for, and I believe him. Dominus Vobiscum.

@@peters9744 thank you. I never understood what God requires of us in our final days but there is time given, if we seek the graces offered, to mend what has been broken and find peace at last in the last hours to be humbled before our King.

Austin. Your post seems to contain a contraction. Tradition develops slowly over many centuries. Vatican 2 and the NO did not follow this model.

You have the receipts for that?

@@austinkent8811 Your "invent" teaching finds no place in Tradition or the Latin Mass.

@@marccrotty8447 It’s literally defined in both the Council of Trent and Pius XII’s Mediator Dei. So either you haven’t done basic research, or you reject the teaching of the Church.

@@austinkent8811 Paragraph 58 of Mediator Dei describes the Holy See's right to carefully modify Church traditions. This explanation is preceded by paragraph 8 that warns against novelty (such as the Novus Ordo). Attend the Latin Mass. "8. Indeed, though we are sorely grieved to note, on the one hand, that there are places where the spirit, understanding or practice of the sacred liturgy is defective, or all but inexistent, We observe with considerable anxiety and some misgiving, that elsewhere certain enthusiasts, over-eager in their search for novelty, are straying beyond the path of sound doctrine and prudence. Not seldom, in fact, they interlard their plans and hopes for a revival of the sacred liturgy with principles which compromise this holiest of causes in theory or practice, and sometimes even taint it with errors touching Catholic faith and ascetical doctrine."
