These two ground the movies with their authentic and natural chemistry, whether they remain partners or become something more, I just really hope she continues to be an integral part of the franchise and isn’t stupidly killed off.
I agree, I hope they don't pull a Kingsman 2 and pointlessly kill off a solid love interest at the beginning of the movie just to drive home some cheap motivation
@@SF-ow9ym I know, she was one of the best characters, I’m still pissed off about that and they made his endgame the most basic character to exist, it was so stupid. 🤦🏼♀️
Ya in the hospital scen she tells him that its hard to let someone you care to die then zureb says same thing so basically it's confirm they both madly care for each other.❤
Chris is awesome, but Nik is the best thing in this movie I think. She is soooo gorgeous! And so great in her action scenes. And yes, the chemistry between the two is incredible. Golshifteh Farahani has now moved into the category for me of, "I will watch anything she's in just because she's in it."
That smile from Nik after Tyler told her to fuck off was truly a spectacle to behold. That smile is so pretty and magnificent I watched the scene many times!
The platonic relationship between them is a great move for me. It gave their relationship ambiguity that makes you admire their camaraderie, instead of a direct in-your-face affair that could potentially spoil the action with unnecessary or cringy romance. This ain't that movie y'all. 👊💥
It’s painfully obvious that Nik is in love with Tyler. The scenes where she’s practically throwing herself at him with those big brown eyes is too numerous to count. Meanwhile his guilt from the past and fear of getting too close to someone again makes him unattainable, at least for now. I’m good with a slow burn but I hope they’re brought together eventually. Maybe by Extraction 12. 😊
I like the part where Tylers expression changes when he is with Nik from that brutal face to that cute puppy dog face 😂like her words has impact on him.uff i cannot tell how much I love the silent love between them.
@@didyoupinkyswear ya actually even in the first part when she asks him why is he ready do such risky operation and she tells him why ,see the changes in his facial expressions ,its like she reads him like a open book even when he doesn't say anything which is the most beautiful part of their bond
The chemistry and bond between the two characters is very well written. Whether or not that progresses towards romantic in involvement in the 3rd movie remains to be seen and I'm not entirely sure it should
Man the chemistry between these two are very similar to my two protagonists in my book. One is a former military man who becomes something akin to The Punisher, the other is an FBI agent woman who meets him early in the story and steadily becomes well acquainted with him. They both have their disagreements on who should live or die for their crimes but ultimately they have each others backs just like Rake and Nik.
@@didyoupinkyswear It’s called “The Road Ranger.” It’s not done yet but I’m always open to have more fresh eyes to read the book to get ideas from a potential audience. I’d be more than happy to exchange emails so that you can take a look.
For those who want to read it, go ahead and drop your emails in the comments and I can tag your emails on the story. I hope it’s Gmails by the way. Only because it’s on Google Docs. Edit: By the way just to let y’all know, the story isn’t done. There’s much to work on but it is a bit of a read, clicking in just shy of 30,000 words. Oh and for the synopsis, it’s this: Former Calivadan Army Ranger Matt Santos leaves the military to rebuild his life with his parents. After hearing his mother supposedly being a target in a shootout, Matt tries to comfort her while also getting legal protection for the both of them. Despite this after a few weeks, Matt’s mother is shot dead outside of the San Diego courthouse. After a tragic loss, the police refuse to do anything about the matter despite Agent Maria Garcia’s best efforts in launching a murder case on Matt’s behalf. Upon delivering this bad news to Matt, Matt breaks down in tears which Maria leaves him be. Upon buying his next drink, Matt discovers a potential suspect which leads him down a violent path in getting the justice he deserves. Little does he know however, someone close to him set this all up.
Tthey don't have to be a couple, but they are certainly very charismatic individuals. She is really a badass in this movie. Please don't die in the next one.
I think their relationship as is is PERFECT. Doesn't need to be a love thing. The way they look out for eachother and care for eachother is just like any other two best friends that have been through the shit and back together. It's perfect.
I think both love each other but Tyler was stuck in his past and felt guilty about leaving his son at last moment In extraction 2, after he knows what his child felt for his father, I think now he can move on from his past
So true man, they do you can see in their eye's but as you mentioned he was still stuck in his past and you could see he was pushing her away ,so I am happy he got his closure on his sons death. Part of him might push her away cuz he fears that if they get together bad guys want to go after her to hurt him like the villain in this part wanted shoot her to just hurt him which stops Tyler i guss but Nik never hides her feeling even in the hospital she didnt wanted to give up on him and thas very special ,hope Tyler could move from his past beacuse what they have is very rare and special.
Golshifteh Farahani is charming and has a natural beauty with a beautiful personality, and also acts beautifully. Golshifteh Farahani and Chris Hemsworth are great partners in both parts of the movie :)
@@didyoupinkyswear they act like they know everything and they are better than everyone, (even the people with more experience). And most of these characters act like all men are dumb or something Eg: shehulk from Marvel TV show
@@Anand-io6lh Oh yeah, I understand. I don't like this type of character either. Smart characters are the best! Not sure it is feminine toxicity though
Spoken from personal experience, nothing short of fate itself will direct a man that is so traumatically damaged to allow himself to be loved when 1.subconsciously he feels he doesn't deserve it. 2. It would expose vulnerability. 3. The comfort of self loathing familiarity and fear of uncertainty and love unknowned.
Say what you want, but on my book every single woman in this movie was great besides his wife. Thinking about it, her wife dumped him after he left to Kandahar and she left him while having the blame for leaving his son because he thought he was coward to deal with it. But she spend all those years to say to him that their son never thought of him that way. Before even do that she asks to him do a favor for her after not telling him about their son and just left him to to rotten with is own thoughts and asks him to do something without even been near to explain herself why and how and uses him to do a favor for her after she left him thinking the worst scenario possible and not taking responsibility of anything. Nik however always stood by Tyler even though she just could consider him clinically dead for real.
They won’t, lol I hope not. her brother already died that would literally not make any sense if she died as well. She’s like one of the top main characters fr💯
Can't imagine an actress that would have played the part as good as she did well done sister and the end part in extraction one where she shoots that f*** her in her head well done
Hope they dont pack her up like yaz. Having capable entertaining side characters is always amazing to see so it was pain when they took yaz he was pretty interesting too
I'm never going to leave yourl ...I will always have an extra ordinary Love and understanding for this team 4ever You know that I Loveee All off you Equally it's always going to be like that I'm just not well today from yesterday I've been unwell ...After we lost our Legends in starlife I'm just taking a small break 😔 from everything sometimes I'm not Like the rest comments and interviews clearly gets to me some days but strong will power is fading away
Lo mismo pienso, y no entiendo el por que, si elsa pataky igual a hecho peliculas con otras estrellas protagonicas y no pasa nada, cual seria el problema😂
The actress even confirm that tyler and nik shared kiss but somehow it didn't worked with story so they removed it now its like more of emotional deep bond of understanding and unspoken love which i think is way better then some random kiss. She said nik and Tyler ready to die for each other and there is deep connection of grief and pain which bonded them.
So basically a trauma bond…could get messy, considering they’re partners mixing work and pleasure never ends well but, we’ll see. I lowkey want them to keep dragging out the tension and suspense of their potential romantic relationship, but then again it’s very obvious there’s something there.
