Text in the message to Titus 2:13 calls upon us to expect the soon return of our God and Savior Jesus Christ (see also 2 Peter 1:1). In the message to Jews 1:8 God father declared Jesus: "and the son: Thy throne, God, in the age of century; the Kingdom of Thy own - jezle of the right." In revelation 19:10 Angel ordered Apostolic John to worship God only. At the same time, the Bible describes several cases when people worshipped Jesus (Matthew 2:11; 14:33; 28:9,17; Luke 24:52; John 9:38). Jesus never stopped people worshipping him. If Jesus was not God, he would ask these people not to worship, just as the Angel did in the book of revelation. Many other scriptures also confirm Jesus's Divinity. The most important proof that Jesus must be God is that if he were not, he would not be, his death would not be enough to pay for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). Only God could pay such an unlimited punishment. Only God could take on himself sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die and resurrect - proving his victory over sin and death.
