its true for the most part, but he's been rapping for a few years now. nowadays you can literally learn how to rap off from observing and RU-vid videos.
Writing songs really isn't that hard it you know the language well... Freestyling is a different story and takes real practice but knowing how to make similes and alliteration will get you far rapping.
I remember I met him at a kiccbacc like 2 years ago, he was hilarious and drunk & everything was “on Compton Cuh” 😂 so I thought he was from Compton. I ain’t even know he was from Pedro. Then like a year after that , I kept hearing about a Remble guy listened to his music it was fire and found out he fw Stinc Team and Drakeo. Then I finally saw who the Remble guy was I was like ohhhh shit that’s ol boy from the kiccbacc I ain’t know that was buddy or that he even rapped 😂 glad to see bro doing his shit!!! Moral of the story : Living in LA you can be partying with an incoming Rapper/Producer etc and not even know it. Shit be crazy.
