I always liked this song MUCH more than I ever liked that theme from that tv show. The harmony in this song is extremely intelligent, the lyrics are reflective, the performance is inspiring. Love it.

This song will always be so special for me. I was living with my best friend Derek back in 1990. He introduced me to Summer on New Years Eve, 1990 and we would get married a year later to the day, New Years Eve 1991!! This was our song throughout 1990 and we watched the video on VH1 all the time!! What a great time in my life!! Everyday was a blast! She moved in with us, and it was just awesome!!! Derek's girlfriend was Summers best Friend and it was always a party!!! What a wonderful time to be alive, it's sad that we only realize how great our life was once it's gone.... Sadly, Derek passed away back in 2011 and I haven't spoken to Summer or Diane in 33 years😔.... I will forever remember my Friends and my ex when I listen to this song......Live on, shine on and never waste a day of your life....👍❤️‍🔥✨️🎸🎶🎵

Just heard about the passing of Shannen Doherty and was reminded of this song featured in Beverly Hills 90210❤. Believe it was an episode when Brenda had a scare of breast cancer. Never realised this would be true😢

This Rembrandt’s, and the Friends theme Rembrandt’s seem like 2 different bands. I absolutely love this song, it’s so beautifully written, the vocals are spot on, and it tells a story and means something. The guitars sound perfect too, Tele is the perfect tone.

It's kind of a shame that the Rembrandts are mostly remembered for the "Friends" theme, they had a lot of better songs than that one... Wasn't even born yet but love the landscape and sound in this video , together they fit perfect. Sets the mood for the 90s as it was released in the beginning of the 90s. Wandering in the desert searching for your purpose in life, but being cool and taking the time to chill. At the same time, you got your buddy and a beautiful girl there that symbolize hope and those that'll be by your side along the way. Finally reaching the beach or oasis, whatever it is at the end of this music video. At least that's what I got from it.

If you saw these guys in a concert and they ask "what do you wanna hear" and you say "Not Friends", this is one epic classic that they will play

Was in high school when this came out and forever had a love affair with it! So laid back and smooth. It always took me to a place I have never been able to put in words but I guess that's just the way it is when a song is so amazing!
